Last One Laughing is returning with a devilishly fun Halloween special this October, as seven comedians take on the gruelling challenge of not laughing… or screaming.
Prime Video first announced the Halloween special earlier this year but had remained tight-lipped on who could feature – and there are a couple of familiar faces.
The spooky cohort features Jack Dee, Phil Wang, Reece Shearsmith, Harriet Dyer, Tom Allen and season 1 returnees Lou Sanders and Daisy May Cooper.
The four-parter – which launches on Friday 23 October – will see the famous faces use every ounce of their comedic talent to break their opponents without laughing or screaming.
But it won’t just be their rivals they need to look out for, as cursed props, ghostly interruptions and spooky surprises are all designed to catch them off guard.
Last One Laughing UK has been a massive hit for Prime Video, with the first season winning best entertainment programme at the 2026 BAFTA TV Awards as well as Bob Mortimer winning the best entertainment performance.
The third UK edition will launch in 2027, though details on who will take part are being kept under wraps.
The most recent season concluded earlier this year and saw the return of Mortimer, who entered the game hoping to retain his title of champion – however that didn’t go quite to plan.
In the final episode of season 2, David Mitchell, Mel Giedroyc, Sam Campbell and Mortimer remained in the running, and with just 40 minutes left, host Jimmy Carr announced they were now in sudden death, meaning whoever laughed next would be handed the red card.
In the end it was Ludwig star Mitchell who had the last laugh (or rather, didn’t) and was crowned the winner of Last One Laughing UK season 2.
