It seems William showed his “true feelings” for Princess Kate through a rare public gesture that was captured on camera, sparking considerable discussion.

Over the weekend, the Royal Family attended the wedding of Peter Phillips, Princess Anne’s son, as he married NHS nurse Harriet Sperling at a church ceremony in Gloucestershire. The occasion delivered considerable joy alongside a collection of beautiful photographs, yet spectators seem to have overlooked a crucial moment that appeared to speak volumes about Prince William.

This follows royal enthusiasts being left rather surprised by Princess Kate only last week. When she attended an important event, observers found themselves distracted by a particular aspect of her appearance.

This time, however, it was William commanding attention, as the Prince remained focused entirely on his wife. As they walked outdoors in the rain, he made a gesture that many considered highly revealing, even though some seem to have ignored it at first.

Over the weekend, nearly all senior royals travelled to the small village of Kemble, near Cirencester in Gloucestershire, for the private wedding ceremony, including the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and the King and Queen.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie were also in attendance. It marked the first occasion they have participated in a major Royal Family event since the arrest of their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did not attend the ceremony. Nevertheless, all attention seemed to focus on the Prince and Princess of Wales as they captivated the crowds.

They acknowledged well-wishers as they applauded when the couple departed the church. Many felt Kate appeared “beautiful”, and praised William for treating her with such courtesy.
