Dylan Dreyer was absent from Today‘s third hour on Tuesday, March 31, with her co-star, Craig Melvin, also missing from the news desk. Third-hour veteran Al Roker held down the fort alongside Laura Jarrett and Savannah Sellers, and took a moment to reassure viewers about his colleagues’ absence. “Craig is on assignment, Dylan is off, so we got Laura Jarrett and Savannah Sellers here,” Al began, before breaking into laughter. “Why are you laughing?” Laura chimed in with a smile on her face, as Al replied: “Everybody’s gone!”  “We’re keeping you company, we’re keeping you cozy,” she added, as he quipped: “I know! FRANKFURT, March 25 : Germany forward Kai Havertz is close to his best form again after several injuries in the past 12 months, and a successful Arsenal run across three competitions in the coming months will be the best preparation for the World Cup, he said on Wednesday. TAIPEI: Taiwan on Sunday (Mar 15) reported the return of large-scale Chinese air force activities around the island after an unexplained absence of more than two weeks that prompted speculation in Taipei as to Beijing’s motives. China, which views democratically governed Taiwan as its own territory, normally sends fighter jets, drones and other military aircraft around the island on a daily basis, with interruptions generally caused by bad weather. Taiwan’s defence ministry, in a daily update on Sunday morning, said it had detected 26 Chinese military aircraft, concentrated in the Taiwan Strait, over the previous 24 hours. It last reported that many on Feb 25, when it spotted 30 aircraft after saying Beijing was carrying out another “joint combat readiness patrol”. From Feb 27, Taiwan reported no Chinese military aircraft until Mar 7, when it said it spotted two aircraft to Taiwan’s far southwest. There have been only sporadic, small-scale incidents since then. Season 4 of Invincible is once again set to up the ante with the start of the Viltrumite War saga and its other unique stories, adapted from the comics. But one major change is coming in the shape of Aaron Paul, who won’t be rejoining the show as Powerplex — and the franchise’s creator has given us a bit more insight behind it all. Voiced by the Breaking Bad actor since the character’s debut, Powerplex (aka Scott Duvall) was one of the show’s most tragic figures. After being on a war path of revenge against Mark Grayson’s Invincible for the deaths of his sister and niece, Powerplex ends up going too far with his electrical powers against the hero, and accidentally kills his wife and infant child as well. When the cast of Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man was confirmed, there were a number of notable absences from the cast of the original show, but perhaps none so seismic than Arthur Shelby star, Paul Anderson. Anderson played Arthur in all six seasons of the show, and is one of only three stars to have appeared in every episode, along with Cillian Murphy and Sophie Rundle. Both Murphy and Rundle have returned for the film. Now, finally, Anderson has opened up on the film and his absence, telling LADbible that he thinks The Immortal Man is “amazing”, despite his being “apprehensive” when going into it.
