4 Zodiac Signs Experience A Change In Their Financial Status After The New Moon On October 10, 2026

Four zodiac signs are experiencing a change in their financial status after October 10, 2026. The New Moon in Libra is seriously changing the game. According to astrologer Helena Hathor, this powerful lunation is “bringing in maximum abundance for the next six months.” Now, we have the chance to build wealth and really elevate our status. The stars are aligned to give us a boost, but, as always, it’s up to us to put in the work and make the most of it.  1. Virgo Design: YourTango Get ready, Virgo. The New Moon is in your house of income, while Venus retrograde is in your house of communication. That means right now, your words carry serious power, especially when it comes to money. “A conversation is gonna change everything about your career,” Hathor said.  This is your chance to start creating long term-wealth. Will this conversation be easy? Probably not. It’s rarely easy to advocate for yourself and ask for what you deserve. But it will definitely be worth it to see your financial status …

Embedding Lived Experience in the Heart of CBT Practice

Embedding Lived Experience in the Heart of CBT Practice

The value of lived experience in shaping mental health practice has never been clearer. The voices of those with personal experience of mental health challenges and cognitive behavioural therapy—services users, carers, the public and practitioners—have to be meaningfully heard if they are to improve how psychological therapies are developed, delivered and governed. Lived experience should not be optional or an afterthought. It has an important role in good practice, strong professional standards and public trust. CBT is at its best when it is informed not only by research evidence and clinical expertise, but also by the real experiences of the people it is designed to support. Those voices add to the body of knowledge supporting it and can be used to help build the structures, culture and opportunities that place lived experience alongside professional expertise, so clinicians can practice with both excellence and humanity. Embedding public lived experience in decisions Those who receive CBT can offer professional bodies, clinicians and healthcare organisations valuable insights that cannot be gained through professional training alone. Everyone who experiences …

Has direct experience of a recent climate event changed your mind about the climate crisis? | Climate crisis

Has direct experience of a global climate event where you live changed how you now view the climate crisis? Perhaps you were sceptical or even denied the climate crisis before the impact of recent global climactic events. You may have lost your home or possessions in a wildfire in the USA or Europe, or you have a mountain business impacted by glacial retreat and snow scarcity. Maybe your community, its agricultural or tourism ecosystem in parts of Asia or South America, has suffered because of floods; or perhaps the long summer heatwaves and rain-drenched winters in the UK have been life-changing. We would like to speak to you if your experience of a climate event has changed your perception of the problem from one that did not give you cause for concern to one you are now convinced should be taken seriously. We would also like to hear from people around the world who have changed their mind from worrying about climate change to scepticism. Share your experience You can share your response using this …

Did you buy your home using help-to-buy? Tell us about your experience | Property

The government has announced plans for a new scheme to help first-time buyers purchase a home. The programme, called “Your first home”, is intended to help buyers in England who have a regular income but have been unable to save for a large deposit or don’t have financial support from their family. We’d like to hear from people who used the previous help-to-buy equity loan scheme. Did it help you buy a home you otherwise couldn’t have afforded? How have you found the scheme since? Have you encountered any unexpected costs or difficulties when repaying the loan, remortgaging or selling your home? Or has Help to Buy worked well for you? Share your experience Please respond in the form below.  Your responses, which can be anonymous, are secure as the form is encrypted and only the Guardian has access to your contributions. Experience: a brain surgeon dropped part of my skull on the floor | Life and style

Experience: a brain surgeon dropped part of my skull on the floor | Life and style

On a Sunday in May 2017, I was at the gym and using a chest press when there was this pop. It wasn’t a sound – it was more like a sigh in my body. There was no pain, but I went limp. I shuffled along the wall to some mats. I thought I was having a stroke, but I wasn’t slurring and my eyes and arms seemed fine. But my left leg felt numb – it was the weirdest feeling. Lying on my back with my legs bent, both knees stayed upright when I looked at them. When I looked away, the left one fell to the side. I ended up in A&E for hours at nearby St Thomas’ hospital in London. I was 34, healthy and had started regaining feeling in my leg, so they theorised it was a bruised spine and thought it was safe to discharge me. Overworked staff and shift changes meant that when MRI images of my brain went missing, nobody tracked them down. At a follow-up appointment days later, my partner, …

We want to hear about your experience with Tricare medical coverage

Tricare promises to provide health benefits to millions of active-duty service members, veterans and their families. But in recent months, NBC News has uncovered a slew of complaints about the U.S. military’s healthcare program as part of our “Cost of Denial” series, which examines coverage refusals and other insurance-related problems. Many people who receive healthcare through Tricare say their issues began when the military switched the companies that administer the program at the start of 2025. After NBC News reported on one veteran whose claims were repeatedly denied, delaying crucial care after his cancer diagnosis, one of the contracted companies issued a public apology, and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton opened an investigation into denied claims. We are continuing to cover Tricare and want to hear about people’s experiences. If you are a Tricare beneficiary, provider, contractor or employee dealing with denied claims, delayed reimbursements or other issues, we would like to hear from you. Source link

All the Strictly 2026 stars with previous dance experience

Get the latest entertainment news, reviews and star-studded interviews with our Independent Culture email Get the latest entertainment news with our free Culture newsletter Get the latest entertainment news with our free Culture newsletter Strictly Come Dancing is almost back on our screens – and with it comes the endless debate around which celebrities have an “advantage” due to their previous dance experience. Since the show’s very start more than two decades ago, Strictly has cast stars with all levels of dance experience and training. Much of this comes from their day jobs, where singers have to be able to move (at least a little bit) and actors are likely to have studied dance at drama school. At the other end of the spectrum, sports players are far less likely to have dance experience (although gymnastics backgrounds can be a real advantage), and even seemingly random celebrities can have a secret passion for dance or have undergone dance lessons before their weddings. The celebrities taking part in the 2026 series (PA) Strictly doesn’t claim to …
