Kartik Research Postpones Paris Fashion Show Following Employee’s Death

Kartik Research Postpones Paris Fashion Show Following Employee’s Death

Kartik Research, the New Delhi-based menswear brand founded by Kartik Kumra, has postponed its upcoming Paris Fashion Week runway show following the death on May 28 of one of the brand’s employees, 26-year-old Divyanshu Joshi. The runway show, which had been slated on the official Paris men’s schedule for June 25, will be postponed, a spokesperson for the brand confirmed to GQ today. A new date has not been announced. Joshi, who managed Kartik Research’s Delhi retail store for two years, was also a model who often appeared in photo shoots for the brand. According to reporting by the Indian fashion news outlet The Voice of Fashion, The Times of India, and The Hindustan Times, he died by drowning at an abandoned stone quarry in the southern Indian state of Kerala. Per the latter two outlets, the quarry had been inactive for over 20 years and was off-limits to the public. The brand spokesperson confirmed that Joshi had participated in a seasonal shoot for Kartik at a local theater in the city of Kochi earlier …

GQ’s Father’s Day Gift Guide, According to a Father

GQ’s Father’s Day Gift Guide, According to a Father

From one father to fathers, soon-to-be dads, and father figures everywhere: the best Father’s Day gifts are tricky. There’s the dad who relishes a cold one by the grill with a couple of scratch-offs in his pocket, the dad who recently decided grinding his own coffee beans is the key to an inflation-friendly at-home pour-over, and the more discerning dad who appreciates a silk tie and a candle from a centuries-old Parisian label. Dads mostly want to feel appreciated, and, in some cases (me), aggressively over-caffeinated. Every year when I get a scribbly homemade card from my son, I’m reminded that it really is the thought that counts: It’s his way of acknowledging that what I do as a dad, day in and day out, matters, and that he appreciates me for it. That said, as someone who “doesn’t need anything” (a line every dad rehearses annually), I’ll admit I still appreciate a good left-field gift on Father’s Day. The trick is finding something that lands somewhere between practical, stylish, and not destined for the …

Inside the Making of ‘The Odyssey’—With Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, and Christopher Nolan

Inside the Making of ‘The Odyssey’—With Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, and Christopher Nolan

He also knew, early on, precisely how he wanted to shoot the film. For The Odyssey, Nolan asked IMAX to design a camera that could capture not just big sweeping shots but intimate scenes of dialogue, something that was previously thought to be impossible, due to how loud IMAX cameras are. At Nolan’s behest, IMAX devised a kind of blimp covering to get the effect he wanted while still allowing the actors to hear themselves over the sound of the camera. And then, because the covering often blocked the actor’s eyeline, Nolan himself improvised a workaround, a system of mirrors that would allow a second actor’s face to be projected just left of his lens. “Chris doesn’t fake anything,” Holland told me. “Everything’s real. Everything you’re reacting to is what he wants your visceral human response to.” Pattinson once had to shoot a scene in The Odyssey responding to a far-off sound. “I can’t see anything, apart from the camera,” he recounted, “and I was just asking Chris, because I’m supposed to react to this …

Callum Turner Married Dua Lipa in an Unconventional Wedding Suit

Callum Turner Married Dua Lipa in an Unconventional Wedding Suit

In a surprise-to-us ceremony at London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall on Sunday, British actor (and possible future James Bond) Callum Turner tied the knot with pop star Dua Lipa, kicking off summer wedding season and officially crowning one of the world’s swaggiest couples (Calua? Duallem?) in the process. Fortunately for anyone with a wedding on the calendar over the next few months, Turner’s unconventional, tone-on-tone Ferragamo ensemble—equal parts John Wick and Robert De Niro in Casino—is the perfect mood-board material for nailing all your summertime semiformal looks. Callum Turner and Dua Lipa at their London wedding ceremony on May 31. Shutterstock Rather than going the traditional groom route—in either a classic black tuxedo or a more standard suit and tie—Turner opted for a swervier in-between option. His Maximilian Davis-designed rig boasted a strong-shouldered, double-breasted cut with plenty of formal details (wide peak lapels, covered buttons), but its rich, midnight-navy hue kept things feeling fresh and modern. Perhaps the bravest, most fashion-forward move of all here, though, is the matching navy dress shirt and tie—a nod …

How GQ Readers Shopped In May 2026

What You Should Buy Next: And then there’s the Gator Run, the new kid on the block. This is easily one of the weirdest NBs out there right now, leaning heavily into trail running and outdoorsy vibes without going full gorpcore. The strange, toothy outsole makes it feel a lot more niche compared to your average pair, which is why so many trainer guys are gravitating towards it. Who Let the Dogs Out: Blundstone Aerocork Sandal Blundstone Aerocork Sandal The Story: Blundstone’s New Sandals Are Aimed Squarely at Birkenstock Fans Why You Bought It: Blundstone has long had the market cornered when it comes to hard-wearing slip-on boots. Even Jacob Elordi is a fan, spotted recently wearing the brand’s classic 585 Chelsea boots with loose jeans and a blue sweatshirt. They’ve become so ubiquitous that this past winter, the brand literally had a billboard on my street in Toronto showing its classic boot against a stark white background with the words: “IT’S BLUNDSTONE WEATHER.” No explanation necessary. Around here, everybody knows what that means. But now, …

Jung Kook on His Calvin Klein Collab: ‘It Ultimately Is a Secret Message of Appreciation to My Fans’

Jung Kook on His Calvin Klein Collab: ‘It Ultimately Is a Secret Message of Appreciation to My Fans’

In the three years since Jung Kook first appeared in a torso-baring Calvin Klein campaign, a lot has changed. In November 2023, the “golden maknae” of BTS dropped his debut solo album, Golden—which garnered the alluring number-one hit “Seven”—before enlisting to complete his mandatory South Korean military service a month later. Now, he and his bandmates are back and better than ever, currently supporting their smash-hit tenth album Arirang on the equally red-hot Arirang World Tour. Throughout it all, the 28-year-old’s relationship with Calvin Klein has only deepened—first by way of another sexy, internet-breaking campaign last year, and now through a limited-edition capsule campaign that the singer helped design himself. Officially dubbed Jung Kook for Calvin Klein (or “CKJK” for short), the collection comprises 20 styles for both men and women, including a number of the storied label’s most iconic pieces—the ’90s trucker jacket, low-rise jeans, that classic CK underwear—all filtered through Jung Kook’s distinct perspective. The line’s logo, for instance, is inspired by his love of racing; elsewhere, design elements reference his passions for …

Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady Watch Their Own Highlights All the Time

Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady Watch Their Own Highlights All the Time

Now you look at the game, it’s copycat. Everybody is really playing the same, but you don’t really have the personnel to play the style of basketball you’re playing. That’s what drives me crazy: Why are you putting him in that position where he is not really excelling, but he will be his best at this position? You’re trying to make him into something that it’s going to take him a long time to figure out, when he could be really good for you right now over here. Carter: Keeping up with the Joneses. McGrady: Yeah. Man, that’s the most frustrating part to me. On that note, did either of you ever think about coaching? McGrady: No. He did, though. Carter: I mean, I did. I have. But I just look at the league, and the lack of loyalty to coaches [from players] now is what’s concerning to me. I know the approach now is to have more compassion for the players, but I felt like if a coach wasn’t yelling at me, getting after …

After partnering with Omega and Blancpain, Swatch is officially teaming up with Audemars Piguet. Without a single official image of a watch—beware of all the convincing AI renderings out there—the collaboration has already transcended the watch world to capture the attention of anyone with roughly $300 to $500 worth of spending power. So, what do we actually know about this new world-conquering linkup? The basics In 2022, Swatch worked with Omega to create an affordable version of the latter’s famed Speedmaster. The “MoonSwatch,” a vibrant $260 take on one of the most iconic watches of all time, instantly became a cultural phenomenon. Swatch followed that up with a similarly budget-friendly spin on Blancpain’s Fifty Fathoms, a legendary dive watch. The MoonSwatch shocked the world upon its release, but the upcoming “Royal Pop,” in whatever form it takes, is a twist that would stun …

Braun Series 9 Pro+ Electric Shaver Review 2026

Braun Series 9 Pro+ Electric Shaver Review 2026

Performance: Powerful, Effortless, and Oh So Smooth The Series 9 Pro+’s performance is excellent. Even as someone who typically gets on better with rotary shavers, I found it delivers a very close, smooth shave with minimal effort. Under the hood, it’s driven by a high-speed motor and a multi-element foil system designed to tackle everything from short stubble to flatter, more awkward hairs. What really stood out to me is just how powerful it feels. The first time you switch it on, it’s reminiscent of revving a V8 engine—there’s a real sense of force behind it, and thankfully, the performance matches that initial impression. Even on my tougher, more stubborn head stubble, it sliced through to a near razor-smooth finish with ease, and with fewer passes than many other shavers I’ve tested. That power doesn’t come at the expense of comfort, either. I get consistently close results without the irritation I’d usually expect, especially around the neck, where foil shavers normally do a number on my skin. With the Series 9 Pro+, there’s very little …
