Camilla served tea and cake, helped the youngsters find clues as they searched for chocolate treasure and handed out party bags to the children, who are supported by the charity Dreams and Wishes, as she opened up her London home to them for the afternoon. The festivities were scheduled to take place in the garden, but heavy rain forced the event inside. If you needed any further proof that late-stage capitalism will eventually ruin everything you love, this week’s internet feud between Patagonia and a drag queen named Pattie Gonia should more than suffice. Patagonia, as anyone who has ever ordered a flat white or visited Colorado knows, is a beloved outdoor clothing brand whose colorful fleeces are coveted by everyone from boomers and tech bros to gorpcore-loving hypebeasts. Pattie Gonia, meanwhile, is the drag persona of Wyn Wiley, an Oregon-based performer, environmental activist, and the host of Save Her!, a climate-themed drag show currently touring the US. A tree-hugging drag artist and a granola-coded fashion brand would seem like unlikely foes, but thanks to a recent lawsuit—and the social media drama it has ignited—they’re now locked in an escalating legal battle. A formidable character who became the matriarch of the Royal Family, Princess Victoria Mary of Teck was born at Kensington Palace on May 26, 1867 in the same room where Queen Victoria (who was a distant cousin) had been born 40 years prior. In 1891, Mary, then 24, was betrothed to her second cousin once removed, Prince Albert, eldest son of the then Prince of Wales (future King Edward VII). However, six weeks after the announcement of the engagement, Prince Albert died unexpectedly during an influenza pandemic. The following year, Mary became engaged to his only surviving brother, Prince George (future King George V), and married him in 1893. When he became Prince of Wales in 1901, she became Princess of Wales. In 1910, following the death of his father, King Edward VII, King George V acceded to the throne and Mary became Queen. Patagonia trademark lawsuit triggers backlash by drag queen Pattie Gonia

Drag queen Pattie Gonia is asking fans for help fighting Patagonia, the popular outdoor apparel and gear company, which has sued the outspoken environmental activist for trademark infringement. The Ventura-based company filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles federal court in January after the environmentalist drag queen submitted an application for the exclusive right to use the brand Pattie Gonia for marketing, activism and clothing sales. Wyn Wiley, who performs as Pattie Gonia, has millions of followers on social media and has raised nearly $4 million for environmental nonprofits. Last year, the drag queen raised $1 million by hiking 100 miles from Point Reyes to San Francisco. Patagonia sued Wiley for $1 in damages plus legal fees, saying it supports the performer’s causes but wants to protect the company’s branding. Pattie Gonia and their supporters are urging the brand to drop the suit. Crown Princess Elisabeth of Belgium was born with a weighty title. After today, she’s adding a second: Master of Public Policy. On Wednesday, Belgium’s future queen got her diploma following two years of study at Harvard’s Kennedy School. Her parents, King Phillippe and Queen Mathilde, are in the Boston area to celebrate the milestone. The Royal Household shared a video of Elisabeth and her parents meeting with the school’s dean, Jeremy Weinstein, before the school’s awards ceremony for the class of 2026 Wednesday. Under her cap and gown, Elisabeth wore a cream dress with red flowers from Maje. A group of photographers accompanied the princess on a tour of the Ivy League university’s campus in Cambridge, stopping to take photos in a library and by the doors of the school’s headquarters on John F.
