Bethell returns as England name white-ball squads for Australia series

Oct 13 : England on Tuesday named their squads for November’s white-ball tour of Australia, with all-rounder Jacob Bethell returning from a knee injury as they step up preparations for next year’s One Day International World Cup. Bethell, who was injured during England’s ODI series win over India in July, has been selected in both the ODI and T20 squads. Wicketkeeper-batter Phil Salt returns after a quad injury ruled him out of England’s 3-0 T20 series sweep of Sri Lanka last month. Wicketkeeper-batter Jos Buttler remains sidelined as he begins rehabilitation following hamstring surgery, while fast bowler Saqib Mahmood misses out with a knee injury. Archer and fellow quicks Gus Atkinson, Sonny Baker and Josh Tongue will leave the tour after the three-match ODI series as England manage their workloads ahead of the Test …

Emmerdale airs Tate family twist as Graham returns with Joe’s baby

Emmerdale airs Tate family twist as Graham returns with Joe’s baby

There is a dramatic twist in the latest episode of Emmerdale as the fate of Baby Tate is finally revealed. Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) had decided to give his unnamed baby son up for adoption, following the death of his wife-to-be (and Baby Tate’s mum), Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley), and had enlisted the help of his childhood guardian Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) in setting it up. Graham and Kim Tate (Claire King) had urged Joe to reconsider his decision to give his son up for adoption, the latter haunted by reminders of giving her own daughter up in 1999. Determined to go through with it, Joe brought his baby son home so that Kim could have a final goodbye, while Graham told Joe that arranging the private adoption would be the last thing he would ever do for him. That was the last anyone saw of the baby, as Graham took him away, presumably to hand him over to another family. Graham holds Baby Tate at a secret location. ITV However, Baby Tate’s location has now …

It ended one of the longest maritime deployments in U.S. military history, returning home to eager loved ones, as well as ongoing scrutiny over past reports of low morale. Elated crewmembers lined the decks portside — some waved to the waiting crowds, and others danced as their loved ones cheered from below. “It’s a combination of the day before Christmas and the last day of school,” the commanding officer, Capt. Dan Keeler, told NBC News, adding that some of the crewmembers are just 18 years old. “They are amazing, you know, legends and heroes,” he said. “Every single one of them.” Among the first to depart at the Naval Air Station North Island in Coronado will be 64 parents who have been waiting months to meet their babies for the first time, The Associated Press reported. 00:47 USS Lincoln sailor will meet his baby boy when ship …
