Iconic 00s Scottish TV series confirmed to be revived for an all-new “family saga”
Iconic Scottish TV series Monarch of the Glen is officially returning to screens, with a new revival of the series coming to 5. The new series, which is being produced by Ecosse Films – makers of the original Monarch of the Glen series – and Masterpiece PBS, is being described as “a fresh reimagining” of the iconic show, which aired between 2000 and 2005 and is loosely based on the Highland Novels series by Sir Compton Mackenzie.
