Adrien Brody in Death Row Drama

Adrien Brody in Death Row Drama

Righteous indignation over the travesty of the American justice system and staunch advocacy against wrongful incarceration make it natural to want to applaud The Fear of 13. The same goes for Adrien Brody’s intensely wrought performance as Nick Yarris, who spent 22 years on death row in Pennsylvania for a murder and rape he did not commit.  Lindsey Ferrentino’s one-act play is based on a 2015 documentary of the same name by British filmmaker David Sington, in which Yarris proves a commanding narrator of his own frequently discursive story. Adrien Brody Joins Lacoste as Global Eyewear Ambassador

Adrien Brody has focused on a new role by joining fashion house Lacoste as global eyewear ambassador. As the new face, the two-time Academy Award winner extends a longtime Lacoste relationship. In 2012, he appeared in Lacoste’s Unconventional Chic campaign. Over the past decade-plus since then, he’s been a regular face in the Lacoste world having attended many fashion shows over the years. For example, he turned up in Paris last year for Lacoste’s autumn/winter 2025 runway presentation wearing a cream knit sweater with an oversized collar. Brody, whose Hollywood resume also includes producing through his Fable House company, says he’s “honored” by the appointment. “Lacoste has always represented style, authenticity and craftsmanship, and I’m excited to continue our friendship and collaboration with this new campaign,” says the actor, who took home an Oscar last year for his work in Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist. In the first drop of the campaign, Brody models modern and lightweight frames featuring geometric shapes that are designed to marry “contemporary design with authentic Lacoste heritage.” One pair features a …
