Kelly Clarkson does a 180 after major NBC return confirmed: ‘She’s baaaaack’
Kelly Clarkson sent fans into a meltdown after announcing her return to NBC, three months after she revealed she would exit her eponymous daytime talk show at the end of the current season. The 44-year-old has signed up to be a coach on season 30 of The Voice, making this her first back-to-back appearance since 2023. Kelly originally appeared as a coach on the NBC show from seasons 14 to 21. She returned for season 23 but then quit and moved to NYC with her two kids, River and Remy, following her divorce from Brandon Blackstock, who passed away in August 2025 following a battle with melanoma. She returned as a coach last year for season 29, and now, following her departure from The Kelly Clarkson Show at the end of season seven, she will be back in the red chair this fall for season 30.
