Bella Hadid reaffirmed that the Y2K revival isn’t going anywhere, as she fully embraced her Hannah Montana–inspired sartorial fantasy while in Milan this week. On February 27, for her new collaboration with Miss Sixty, the supermodel rocked up to the flagship store with a bold new hairstyle reminiscent of the country pop star. The 29-year-old debuted a full set of blunt bangs in a fresh, blonde-highlighted hue, styled in soft cascading waves. The hairstyle was teamed with an equally Hannah-coded ensemble. Bella rocked a light-wash, zip-up denim jacket with a pair of skin-tight flared jeans adorned with leopard print star patches. The double-denim outfit was layered over a simple white roll neck shirt and accessorized with silver-rimmed Bru sunglasses with a red lens, and a pair of Anonymous Copenhagen’s burgundy stiletto pumps. The idea of the Big Bang has captivated the imagination of humanity since it was first proposed nearly a full 100 years ago. Since the Universe is expanding today (as observations have indicated since the 1920s), then we can extrapolate back, earlier and earlier, to when it was smaller, younger, denser, and hotter. You could go back as far as you can imagine: before humans, before the stars, before there were even neutral atoms. At the earliest times of all, you’d make all the particles and antiparticles possible, including the fundamental ones that we cannot create at our low energies today. As time went forward, the Universe would cool, expand, and gravitate all together. First atomic nuclei would form from protons and neutrons, then neutral atoms would form, and then gravitation would lead to stars, galaxies, and the grand structures of the cosmic web.
