Meet BBC Breakfast star Naga Munchetty’s rarely-seen husband James Haggar

Naga Munchetty is a familiar face to many morning TV viewers thanks to her long-running stint on BBC Breakfast, where she’s been a permanent presenter since 2014. But how much do you know about her life off-screen? The broadcaster, who prefers to keep her personal life out of the spotlight, is married to TV director James Haggar.  While the couple tied the knot in 2007, the big day wasn’t entirely plain sailing. Naga previously revealed on her BBC Radio 5 Live show: “I don’t know if I styled it out, but I did fall over in a big, puffy wedding dress during my first dance to You’re Just Too Good To Be True.” She added: “We even figured out a dance routine and everything. Naga Munchetty shares ‘outrage’ as BBC star targeted in disturbing deepfake scam using fake nude images

Naga Munchetty has spoken out after becoming the target of a deepfake scam, revealing fraudsters manipulated images of her to lure victims into online schemes. The BBC Breakfast presenter, 51, said criminals superimposed her face onto explicit images and circulated them as advertisements designed to drive traffic to fraudulent websites. “Scammers are smart, conniving, manipulative, wicked people,” she told the Times. “My head was put on a naked body and used as clickbait to drag people into a scam site.” Munchetty said the use of her likeness in this way did not cause her personal distress, but she was angered by the intent behind it. She continued: “I wasn’t upset that my face was on a naked body, because I knew it was fake, but the fact that it was being used to lure people into being scammed made me so mad. I am outraged and furious.” Naga Munchetty has spoken out after becoming the target of a deepfake scam (BBC) The altered images were circulated as paid adverts on platforms including X and Facebook, …

‘Nobody Is Above The Law’: Starmer Weighs In On Andrew Allegations

Keir Starmer has sent another stern message to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor over his links to dead paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. The prime minister and former director of public prosecutions has told the BBC that “no one is above the law” when asked about the ongoing police probes into Epstein. It comes after Andrew featured in the Epstein files, a huge dossier looking into the disgraced financier released last month by the US Congress. Several different UK police forces have now launched a series of probes into the documents. Surrey Police are investigating into a claim from a 2020 FBI report related to a child abuse claim against Andrew and convicted sex trafficker, Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell. Thames Valley Police are looking into claims Andrew shared confidential information with Epstein when the then-prince was the UK’s trade envoy. Officers are looking into the private flights to and from Stansted Airport potentially linked to Epstein. Norfolk Police are looking into various documents which have been flagged to them, but say they have not received any allegations and are not …

Naga Munchetty’s morbid bedroom transformation husband was ‘cautious’ about

Naga Munchetty is one of the most recognisable faces in the world of British television thanks to her role on BBC Breakfast. She has presented the early morning news on various BBC news shows since 2010, and even participated in ITV’s smash-hit reality competition series Strictly Come Dancing in 2016.  Given the chaotic and ever-hectic nature of her life in the presenting world, it comes as no surprise to learn that the 50-year-old has a rather peaceful home life to balance it out. However, it isn’t all so harmonious, as she revealed in an interview with The Times in April 2025.  © InstagramNaga Munchetty doesn’t often give fans a glimpse inside her home While explaining her interior design situation, the BBC presenter explained that decorating her house caused some conflict between her and her husband. She said: “[The house is] neutral with accents of colour and pattern such as the bold wallpaper design on the feature wall in our bedroom.” Naga found herself drawn to a decoration that was a little… lifeless, adding: “The BBC …
