Naga Munchetty is a familiar face to many morning TV viewers thanks to her long-running stint on BBC Breakfast, where she’s been a permanent presenter since 2014. But how much do you know about her life off-screen? The broadcaster, who prefers to keep her personal life out of the spotlight, is married to TV director James Haggar.  While the couple tied the knot in 2007, the big day wasn’t entirely plain sailing. Naga previously revealed on her BBC Radio 5 Live show: “I don’t know if I styled it out, but I did fall over in a big, puffy wedding dress during my first dance to You’re Just Too Good To Be True.” She added: “We even figured out a dance routine and everything. Naga Munchetty has spoken out after becoming the target of a deepfake scam, revealing fraudsters manipulated images of her to lure victims into online schemes. The BBC Breakfast presenter, 51, said criminals superimposed her face onto explicit images and circulated them as advertisements designed to drive traffic to fraudulent websites. “Scammers are smart, conniving, manipulative, wicked people,” she told the Times. “My head was put on a naked body and used as clickbait to drag people into a scam site.” Munchetty said the use of her likeness in this way did not cause her personal distress, but she was angered by the intent behind it. She continued: “I wasn’t upset that my face was on a naked body, because I knew it was fake, but the fact that it was being used to lure people into being scammed made me so mad. Keir Starmer has sent another stern message to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor over his links to dead paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. BBC Breakfast star Emma Vardy has bid adieu to the programme, but it’s not goodbye forever. Returning to the sofa on Sunday, Emma, who is expecting her second child with husband, Aaron Adams, confirmed that she’s heading on maternity leave. “Right well, that’s nearly it for us today,” Emma told audiences.
