Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie should not lose their royal titles if the decision is made to strip their father from the line of succession. The debate over the York sisters’ status has intensified amid ongoing scrutiny surrounding their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who was stripped of his royal titles last year following the fallout from the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. She told the People’s Channel: “Stripping them (Beatrice and Eugenie) of titles would risk creating public backlash.” She added: “Their roles as royal princesses and as private individuals carving out their own careers and identities remain separate from Andrew’s controversies.” Although neither Beatrice nor Eugenie is a full-time working royal, they remain part of the wider royal family and still attend major events such as Christmas and Easter gatherings.
