It’s been 10 years since Beyoncé attended the Met Gala. On Monday, May 4, she will make her triumphant return as a cochair of the Met Gala 2026, alongside Venus Williams, Nicole Kidman, and Anna Wintour. Since making her debut at the annual fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in 2008, Bey has been a highlight of the event’s best-dressed lists. At 26 years old, the singer first walked the carpet in a strapless powder pink Armani Privé gown, just a month after marrying Jay-Z in a secret ceremony. Since that debut, however, the artist has gotten bolder with her looks. Tina Knowles, the 72-year-old mother of the Texas Hold ‘Em singer, opened her Mama Tina’s Gumbo booth at this year’s Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The food stall sells Knowles’ famed gumbo, which she has often talked about in interviews. According to an Instagram post shared by Knowles, Mama Tina’s Gumbo was scheduled to serve up food at the Texas event from March 2 until March 22. However, a statement from the Houston Health Department, obtained by ABC 13, revealed that the business was closed on March 16. Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s son Sir Carter was noticeably absent at the Super Bowl on February 8 – which marked the third year in a row that his twin, Rumi, eight, has attended without him.  The annual sporting event – which this year saw the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots face off – has become a big tradition for Jay-Z and his daughters – something they clearly enjoy doing together.  Blue has joined the rapper since 2020, which started a sweet tradition with an annual jump photo on the pitch. The 13th annual iHeartRadio Music Awards have recognized Beyoncé and her daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi, marking young Rumi’s first-ever award recognition. Beyoncé and 14-year-old Blue Ivy and eight-year-old Rumi, are nominated for the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards in the category of Favorite Tour Tradition, honoring the Cowboy Carter tour moment when Rumi appeared on stage each night during the performance of “Protector,” alongside Beyoncé’s mom Tina Knowles and Blue, who was also a lead dancer on the show. © HELLO!Rumi on stage with her mom, and Blue Ivy (L) The Cowboy Carter tour was also nominated in the Favorite Tour Style category, which recognizes the most creatively themed concert experience.
