In a bid to avenge their children, the pair end up using a forbidden ritual in order to resurrect a criminal ringleader to exact their revenge against the perpetrators. The synopsis reads: “The Resurrected is a dark and suspenseful series that follows the journey of two desperate mothers as they resurrect a deceased ringleader of a telecommunication fraud scheme to avenge their kidnapped daughters.“ Upon its release, the show dominated in Asian markets, surging high in the charts in the likes of Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.
