The Granitestone Diamond Pro Blue stainless steel sauté pans were recalled Thursday. When announcing the recall, the Consumer Product Safety Commission warned that the metal cap on the screw that connects the pan to the handle can detach and “forcefully eject” when heated. The commission said this can cause burns to the consumer. New York-based E Mishan & Sons, Inc., which imports the pans, has received nearly 100 reports of the cap becoming detached and ejecting from the pan. One of those incidents resulted in the consumer suffering from bruising and burn injuries. About 740,000 sets the Granitestone Diamond Pro …
Artemis II has officially left Earth’s neighborhood, with the Orion spacecraft now on a three-day leg of the deep space journey toward the moon. After NASA polled “go” on translunar injection — or TLI, the key engine firing — flight controllers commanded the maneuver just before 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 2, less than 24 hours after the historic mission launched from Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. For the U.S. space agency, this moment is the real point of no return in a carefully orchestrated test flight. It’s the last major engine firing of the mission. The burn not only pushes the capsule toward the moon, it also serves as the same critical maneuver that will eventually bring the astronauts home. That’s riskier than NASA’s usual spaceflights. On the International Space Station, astronauts circle Earth every hour and a half. If something goes wrong, they’re never more than about 90 minutes from an emergency landing. But on Artemis II, as soon as controllers take this step, NASA has committed to the rest of …
The King has given orders to remove any trace of the disgraced ex-Prince Andrew from his former home on the Windsor estate, it is reported. Skips have been spotted around the 30-room Royal Lodge in Berkshire, with one staffer seen burning old furniture as the stately home was emptied. It is known on February 2, King Charles ordered Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to finally leave the home, where he had lived for over 20 years paying peppercorn rent, under cover of darkness. The move came amid continuing revelations about the extent of Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah’s friendship with the late paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein. The former Duke of York was also arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office following allegations he shared sensitive information with Epstein while serving as the UK’s trade envoy. Andrew, 66, who has taken up residence at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, denies any wrongdoing. This week, royal aides were spotted removing the last possessions from Royal Lodge, including the apartments where the ex-Duke of York’s personal staff used to reside. …

Iranian protesters were pictured burning American and Isreali flags on the streets of Tehran as crowds gathered for Al Quds day. According to the reports, a large number of protesters gathered for the annual celebration in support of the Palestinian cause, with marches and patriotic celebrations. The video captured from inside Iran shows thousands of people on the streets burning US and Israeli flags as crowds chant “death to America” and “death to Israel”. The Quds Day march is an annual pro-Palestinian event announced by revolutionary leader Ruhollah Khomeini in 1979. It falls on the last Friday of Ramadan and is observed worldwide by pro-Palestine groups. Khomeini presented the initiative as a worldwide appeal for Muslims to unite in support of Palestinians and to oppose Israeli authority over Jerusalem. In the UK, this idea has contemporary relevance as a planned pro‑Palestinian Al Quds Day march scheduled for Sunday has been prohibited by the Government, which says the ban is necessary to prevent serious public disorder. In a statement, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood said: “I am …
Walking is low impact, accessible, and free. But does walking build muscle? In a study on global participation rates in sport, walking was found to be the most popular physical activity among adults in four of six global regions including the Americas. But are we accomplishing anything more than getting away from our desks for a few minutes? What happens to our bodies when we walk? “From a physiological perspective, walking is a whole body activity,” says Professor Brian Carson, exercise physiologist at the University of Limerick and head of science at Whole Supp. “When we walk we use our muscles to propel us, which increases our energy expenditure, thus increasing the metabolic demands placed on our muscles and the body as a whole.” As with any exercise, our breathing speeds up in order to deliver more oxygen to our muscles. But, because walking is relatively steady state—i.e. not too taxing—we’re unlikely to get out of breath unless there’s an added stressor, like going uphill or at a faster pace. There’s also a neurological effect. …
Of all the baseless fitness myths to have been peddled through ages of infomercials and influencers alike, the notion that you can “blast belly fat” is among the most audacious. Targeted fat loss, or spot reduction, is simply not a thing that our bodies are equipped to do. “You can’t spot reduce, no matter how promising the marketing and ads that tell you that’s the case,” says Chris Mohr, PhD, RD, cofounder of Mohr Results. “While it would be nice if you could lose fat from wherever you’d like, your body handles fat as it wants.” However, while you may not be able to bump belly fat to the front of your fat-loss queue, that’s not to say you can’t shed it. You absolutely can. Unlike the other 90% or so of fat that we carry on our bodies, belly fat—or visceral fat, to use its government name—is a particularly dangerous brand of baggage that has been shown to significantly raise your risk of a long list of serious health conditions. And the longer you …
Cremo Sensitive Post Shave Balm The Best Aftershave Lotions to Avoid Razor Burn Many traditional aftershaves contain alcohol—the same type found in hospital-grade hand sanitizers. “Sure, it kills bacteria,” Tyson notes, “but it stings like salt in a wound and isn’t great for your skin long-term.” Instead, opt for alcohol- and fragrance-free formula, which are antibacterial but more nourishing. “Think of it as juice for your skin—it soothes irritation, boosts cell repair, and keeps you hydrated.” Beyond calming, aftershave lotion can also help with redness and discomfort from sun exposure.
