Video footage has captured two figures creeping around an Edinburgh neighbourhood after dark. The incident took place around 2.30am on April 28 in Chesser. A home on Eltringham Gardens with CCTV cameras caught the moment the two individuals could be seen prowling around. They seem to try the door handles unsuccessfully before walking shortly up the street to attempt another car. When they appear to be met with locked doors, they seem to cross the road before trying two more cars and disappearing from the camera’s view. It was caught on CCTV (Reach Publishing Services Limited) The concerned local took to social media to alert his neighbours of the incident, saying: “Lock up your vehicles, Tuesday morning, 2.30am.” Shocked locals took to the comments to share their unease with one saying: “Wee rats” and another adding: “That’s terrible”.
