Results found that Americans love the multi-colored, ring-shaped Froot Loops, with the cereal being the most popular in 13 states: Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, and Virginia. Kellogg’s Rice Krispies came in second place, as it was the most popular cereal in five states: Idaho, Montana, South Dakota, Utah and Wisconsin. The breakfast cereal brand has collaborated with Walt Disney Studios to launch a line of novelties in honor of Pixar’s Toy Story 5, set to hit theaters June 19. According to a Thursday press release, this is the first time in a decade that Kellogg’s will have toys inside its cereal boxes. Collectable items include three playable spoons — featuring signature Toy Story characters, Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie — trading cards and movie ticket promotions. Junk food advert ban comes into effect with soft drinks, cereal and chocolate included | UK News

A new online and TV ban on the advertising of unhealthy food comes into full effect today after voluntary restrictions were introduced in October. The ban prevents ads for “less healthy” food and drinks that are high in saturated fat, salt and sugar (HFSS) appearing on television between 5.30am and 9pm, and online at any time. The ban applies to products that fall within 13 categories considered to play the most significant role in childhood obesity. These include soft drinks, chocolates and sweets, pizzas, cakes and ice creams, but also breakfast cereals and porridges, sandwiches, sweetened bread products and yoghurts. Politics latest: Ministers won’t warn Trump over Greenland Products that belong to these categories will need to be assessed on whether they are considered “less healthy” using a scoring tool that considers their nutrient levels and whether they are high in saturated fat, salt and sugar.
