UK households are being urged to put cling film in their fridge before this Friday as hot weather returns. The country is bracing for another spring scorcher this Friday (May 1) when temperatures are expected to climb as high as 25C in London and hit 23C to 24C in other parts of England, according to the Met Office. But when temperatures rise, one key household appliance can start to struggle – the fridge. According to kitchen expert Michael Forbes, from kitchen white goods firm AEG, food will spoil more quickly in hot weather if your fridge isn’t properly sealed.
