The sale will take place next week at Julien’s, the Los Angeles auction house that typically sells rare items for six-figure sums — like Marilyn Monroe’s infamous naked dress. This auction is more modest by comparison, however, with prices starting at around $50. Titled “Bold Luxury: Gwyneth Paltrow Lexicon of Style,” the sale includes a personalized nine-karat yellow gold “Gwyneth” bracelet, which has attracted six bids and currently stands at $150, a Saint Laurent vintage cigarette lighter and a signed copy of her own birth announcement from 1972, which has five bids at $140.
