The Golden Globes leveled up — literally. When Hollywood steps out en masse for Sunday’s 83rd annual Golden Globes, stars will step up to get inside as the arrivals backdrop is brand new for 2026. In what is already being described by insiders as “the Met Gala-ification” of a night long known as “Hollywood’s biggest party,” there is now a grand staircase built for stars to climb upon arrival. Draped in burgundy carpeting and cascading around a golden champagne-colored platform with floral arrangements hovering above, the scene seems tailor made to boost glamour and create a more elegant experience (with photos to match).
