Emmerdale spoilers follow. Emmerdale aired a major turning point in Moira Dingle’s ordeal tonight, as Cain Dingle got some game-changing news. Moira has spent most of this year so far in prison after being falsely blamed for double murder and human trafficking. But tonight, although things took a turn for the worse for Bear Wolf, they do at least seem to be looking up for Moira. Tonight’s scenes saw Cain receive a very positive phone call. He then told Robert and Aaron that all charges against Moira were finally being dropped. This means that, at last, she’s on her way home. Paddy Dingle (Dominic Brunt) may be in serious trouble in Emmerdale, with DS Walsh (Amanda Ryan) finding some heavy evidence to support her belief that he assisted dad Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) in the murder of Ray Walters (Joe Absolom). At the beginning of the year, Paddy was horrified to watch Bear throttle his captor, before helping to move the body into the back of Jai Sharma’s (Chris Bisson) van. He was horrified when his dad confessed to the crime and then handed himself in, and hoped that he’d be able to get off on a self-defence charge. Bear was bailed, though was still clearly suffering from Stockholm syndrome and struggled to see Ray’s true colours. Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) has been left furious in Emmerdale, after a serious confession from sister-in-law Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly). As we know, Cain’s wife Moira (Natalie J Robb) has been wrongly imprisoned for manslaughter, after two bodies were found on Butler’s Farm. The first body found was enslaved Anya Berisha (Alia Al-Shabibi), who passed away following the foul treatment she received from Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) and Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths). In a shocking twist, the second corpse was Celia herself. Ruby discovered the shallow graves while seeking answers about Anya’s death. The two had struck up a friendship last year when she was found sleeping in one of Caleb’s (William Ash) work vans. An emotional storyline is set to kick off in Emmerdale next week, as Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) faces a serious health battle with an aggressive, yet localised, form of prostate cancer. Naturally, the soap favourite struggles with how to process the diagnosis and what side effects could follow with the treatment, and rushes out of his consultation. Amid the drama of Corriedale, there was a quieter, more sombre, moment for Cain Dingle (played by Jeff Hordley). The Emmerdale favourite was caught up with the drama of the crossover episode when he went on the hunt for evil John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth). Unfortunately, while John was arguing with Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), a shotgun was fired, and caught Cain in the midriff. Later in the episode, while Cain was recovering from the non-fatal shot, the doctor explained how they had found some cancer during the scan process.
