Rivals Season 2 Trailer: Danny Dyer, David Tennant And Aidan Turner Return

With less than a month to go until Rivals returns for its second season, the show has unveiled a bumper-length trailer letting fans know what’s in store this time around. Although specific plot points are still being kept under wraps for the time being, the new trailer teases the return of David Tennant’s corrupt Lord Tony Baddingham, more of the fan-favourite romance between Danny Dyer’s Freddie Jones and Katherine Parkinson’s Lizzie Vereker and, of course, all the battling, bitching and bonking that made season one such a hit on both sides of the Atlantic. An official synopsis released by Disney+ on Thursday teases: “The battle for the Central South West television franchise reaches a fever pitch as the war between Corinium and Venturer enters a dangerous new phase. “More ruthless than ever, Tony Baddingham is determined to dismantle his rivals piece-by-piece, weaponising scandal and manipulating those closest to him to maintain his grip on power.” Take a look at the Rivals season two trailer for yourself below: Alex Hassell and Aidan Turner return as Rupert …

10 Questions with Danny and Dani Dyer

Add The Dyers’ Caravan Park to your watchlist Father-and-daughter duo Danny and Dani Dyer — of acting and reality-show fame, respectively — have been on a mission to save the great British holiday and set their sights on restoring a caravan park in Leysdown-on-Sea, Kent. But were the 48- and 29-year-old up to the challenge? And do they really never argue despite their close relationship on and off screen? Over six episodes of The Dyers’ Caravan Park — which has just been renewed for a second series — viewers have a chance to find out… Danny, I read that you were hesitant when you were approached about the series. What changed your mind? Danny I couldn’t be f***ed to do it, I’ll be honest. Have I got time to be running a caravan park? Not really. Plus I’m an actor, and it’s a very different discipline having three cameras follow you all the time, waiting for you to make mistakes. So, I didn’t know how comfortable I was with that. That’s why I needed Dani. …

Danny Dyer reveals why he had strong “anxiety” shooting his new one-man film

While Danny Dyer has more recently been seen in the likes of Rivals, Mr Bigstuff and fronting a brand new series with his daughter, the former EastEnders star is taking on a new kind of role in the upcoming film, One Last Deal. The one-man film sees Dyer take centre stage as football agent Jimmy Banks, who is trying to secure one last big payday for a superstar client. The problem is that the client in question is waiting on a verdict from an ongoing rape trial, and so, the football club won’t sign the deal if it all goes wrong. Dyer’s character Banks is intent on securing some kind of major deal as the film unfolds, but he is also contending with various other stresses from his life and an unwelcome unknown caller who is threatening to upend his life. The film is very much all on Dyer’s shoulders as it remains in Jimmy’s office, with us seeing him getting progressively more stressed, dishevelled and drunk as the movie goes on. BAFTA-winning actor Danny …

Danny Dyer Updates Fans On Those Celebrity Traitors Rumours

In terrible news for Traitors and Danny Dyer fans alike, the former Eastenders star has claimed he’s still waiting for the call up to join the next celebrity series of the show. However, it looks like he and the BBC are yet to have any serious conversations, as the Bafta winner has now insisted the rumours about him donning a cloak for the next Celebrity Traitors are “absolute bollocks”. Appearing on this Saturday’s Jonathan Ross Show, Danny told the host and previous Celebrity Traitor: “I don’t know why they’re saying it.” “If they ask me I’ll do it, but no one’s asked me,” he added. “I would fucking declare it. I’m not on it, you’ll see when it comes on.” Tabloids claimed Danny had been lined up to appear in the next series after watching the show made him want to take part, but BBC reps at the time wouldn’t comment. The Celebrity Traitors will return to our screens later this year, and its renewal came as no great surprise given the first season’s huge …

Danny Dyer says new show is about amplifying working class voices

Father and daughter duo Danny and Dani Dyer are on a mission to save the great British holiday, and they are trying their hand at running a holiday caravan park. But the pair soon discover that the venture isn’t easy and is a world away from the lives they lead as they face demanding punters, dodgy plumbing and a rather unfortunate looking billboard.
