Should my enterprise AI agent do that? NanoClaw and Vercel launch easier agentic policy setting and approval dialogs across 15 messaging apps

Should my enterprise AI agent do that? NanoClaw and Vercel launch easier agentic policy setting and approval dialogs across 15 messaging apps

For the past year, early adopters of autonomous AI agents have been forced to play a murky game of chance: keep the agent in a useless sandbox or give it the keys to the kingdom and hope it doesn’t hallucinate a catastrophic “delete all” command. To unlock the true utility of an agent—scheduling meetings, triaging emails, or managing cloud infrastructure—users have had to grant these models raw API keys and broad permissions, raising the risk of their systems being disrupted by an accidental agent mistake. That tradeoff ends today. The creators of the open source sandboxed NanoClaw agent framework — now known under their new private startup named NanoCo — have announced a landmark partnership with Vercel and OneCLI to introduce a standardized, infrastructure-level approval system. By integrating Vercel’s Chat SDK and OneCLI’s open source credentials vault, NanoClaw 2.0 ensures that no sensitive action occurs without explicit human consent, delivered natively through the messaging apps where users already live. The specific use cases that stand to benefit most are those involving high-consequence “write” actions. That …

This Animation Startup Wants to Make It Easier to Tell Open-Ended Stories

This Animation Startup Wants to Make It Easier to Tell Open-Ended Stories

The current wave of generative AI animation often feels like a magic trick that only works once. You type in a prompt, a video appears, and if you don’t like the result — maybe the feet are all wonky, which is a regular issue with AI generations — your only real option is to try a different prompt. This “black box” approach is exactly what Cartwheel, a new 3D animation startup, is trying to dismantle.  Andrew Carr and Jonathan Jarvis, two veterans with roots at OpenAI and Google, respectively, founded the company, which is working to build a future where AI handles the technical drudgery of animation while leaving the creative soul to the artist. I spoke with Carr and Jarvis about launching their company, defining “taste” with AI, and the technical and creative difficulties of animation in 2026.  What sets Cartwheel apart  According to the founders, one of the biggest hurdles in this space is that 3D motion data is remarkably scarce compared to the endless oceans of text and images available online that …

11 Small Ways Frugal People Make Their Lives Easier Without Spending More

11 Small Ways Frugal People Make Their Lives Easier Without Spending More

Most frugal people are immune to unnecessary purchases. They don’t have a long-running list of items on their wishlist. Instead, they are thoughtful about their spending. While they may not buy the latest tech or spend money on the trendiest beauty products, they still manage. In fact, frugal people even find ways to make their lives easier on a budget. Without draining their bank accounts, they are proactive with their money. They plan rather than spend money without intention. These little habits set them apart from others. They find a way to be more resourceful on a smaller budget. These are 11 small ways frugal people make their lives easier without spending more 1. They shop with a list Lajst from Getty Images Signature via Canva I don’t know about you, but I can walk into a store and completely lose my train of thought. Suddenly, I’m smelling the candles at Trader Joe’s and adding flowers to my cart. Did I come to the store with the intention of buying these things? Absolutely not. Somehow, …

I tried Flatpak, AppImage, and Snap — this one made Linux easier

I tried Flatpak, AppImage, and Snap — this one made Linux easier

Nothing derails a perfectly normal Linux conversation faster than asking, “So… how do you install apps?” You can feel the shift immediately. Someone cracks their knuckles. Another person leans forward like they’ve been waiting their whole life for this moment. Suddenly, it’s not a question anymore, it’s a debate club with strong opinions and suspicious levels of emotional investment. And I get it. I’ve been there. I’ve argued all sides depending on the week, the distro, and how recently something annoyed me. But after actually living with all three, not just testing them for a weekend and declaring victory, I’ve landed somewhere pretty firm. This isn’t theoretical anymore. This is a tested, mildly frustrated, occasionally caffeinated reality. And yeah, for me, there’s a clear winner. Why Linux needed new app formats Traditional packages worked until they very much didn’t Screenshot: Roine Bertelson/MUO There was a time when installing apps on Linux felt clean. You used your package manager, pulled something from the repo, and trusted that everything would just behave. Until you need newer software …

Life Gets Significantly Easier For 4 Zodiac Signs By The End Of April 2026

Life Gets Significantly Easier For 4 Zodiac Signs By The End Of April 2026

Life gets significantly easier for four zodiac signs after April 2026. Professional astrologer Evan Nathaniel Grim explained how Uranus entering Gemini is a wonderful thing for these astrological signs. There are only a few more weeks of Uranus in Taurus. As Grim noted in a video, this is great news for these signs, because “This transit has been a source of unpredictability for years for you. It’s not been following any kind of script.” Once Uranus, the planet of chaos and unpredictability, enters Gemini on April 25, a few zodiac signs in particular feel almost immediate relief. 1. Taurus Design: YourTango Of all the zodiac signs, you probably hate change the most. This means that having Uranus, the planet that rules sudden change, in your sign since 2018 has been anything but easy. As this planet spends its last few weeks in your sign, Grim explained that you likely feel very unsettled. However, he said it’s important to appreciate the growth you’re experiencing.  The good news is that life gets significantly easier for you once …

Gym bunnies are synonymous with extreme discipline and motivation, while those who don’t exercise are often labelled lazy or apathetic. But we are products of our environment. The “super-motivated” 21-year-old bodybuilder might have a pretty breezy schedule and plenty of time to train, whereas the “lazy” parent is juggling childcare, work stresses, and all manner of other commitments. Now, though my goal is to help people move more and feel better, I can’t force your boss to take work off your plate. Nor can I make your children immaculately well-behaved or your schedule …

Love March Madness? Thank the Man Who Made It Easier to Watch

Love March Madness? Thank the Man Who Made It Easier to Watch

For a few weeks every March, American productivity collapses into a blur of fake doctor’s appointments and furtive glances at phones under conference tables as the NCAA’s annual basketball tournament subsumes the culture. March Madness is one of the last sports products that can still be easily consumed—there are no blackout rules, no app-hopping, and no $400 subscription required, making it a rarity in today’s media landscape. The NFL is being dragged through an antitrust fight over allegedly unfairly pricing and restricting access to its out-of-market games package; the NBA’s broadcast rights are splintering across broadcast and streaming. Even college football is drifting toward a more fragmented, paywalled future. But to keep up with March Madness, all you need is basic cable. Ever since the proliferation of streaming, the cost of watching live sports has quietly exploded. Games that used to come bundled in a single cable subscription are now scattered across broadcast networks, cable channels, and streaming services—each with their own monthly fees. Want the full slate? You’ll likely need some combination of ESPN, …

Mastodon is making its decentralized social network easier to use with its latest revamp

Mastodon is making its decentralized social network easier to use with its latest revamp

Mastodon is making changes in the hopes of making its social networking service more appealing and easier to use, especially for more mainstream users looking for an alternative to X or Threads. On Thursday, the decentralized social networking software maker said it’s redesigning a key part of its platform by giving people’s user profiles a new look, which it hopes will appeal to organizations, as well as individuals. Built on the ActivityPub protocol, Mastodon became better known after Elon Musk acquired Twitter, now called X, which led some to seek alternatives. The platform’s appeal is its decentralized nature, meaning a single company doesn’t have control of the algorithm, and users can move their accounts if they don’t like how a particular server operates or moderates its community. However, this system is also more complicated compared with signing up for a traditional social network like X. On Mastodon, users have to pick a server to join, and have different timelines (local and federated), which can be confusing to newcomers. The process for following others on the …
