The annual day sees events held across England every year as English men and women honour the patron saint of England on the anniversary of his death in 303 AD. Lanzarote is a destination that Brits know and love but the popular holiday spot has put visitors off recently. Tourists say they “won’t go back” to the destination after holidaymakers raised issues. For weeks, people have been saying they’ve faced problems in Tenerife, but now attention has been placed on Lanzarote too. Videos have been shared online showing people opening up about how they think the popular holiday destination is “done”, reports The Express. One video, shared on TikTok by Biggie Bills, got a lot of people talking, as many were in agreement that an unexpected aspect is “putting them off” visiting again as they made some pretty big travel confessions about the Canary Islands. Biggie said: “This is why people are done with Lanzarote. The wind is constant. Face full of sand with your drink, but not everyone agrees. Some areas are calm. Hanoi is a city of contrasts. You’ll encounter seafood vendors shifting tubs of slithering eels across the street; and just as likely, you might see a pour-over made from locally grown coffee beans right next door. Tom Hanks couldn’t have been happier to celebrate Easter with his bevy of famous friends, including John Stamos, Nia Vardalos and Billy Zane. The 69-year-old pulled a humorous face as he joined the group for a photo in celebration of Greek Orthodox Easter, alongside his wife of 37 years, Rita Wilson.  The couple were sitting at a table decorated with blue cloth, and surrounded by several Hollywood stars with Greek heritage, like John, Nia and Billy. “It’s our heritage in real time. Loud, warm, a little wild. The family of a missing British man who disappeared after leaving his holiday home in Spain have appealed for him to get in touch as concerns grow for his safety. Paul Daniel Strange, 70, vanished on Thursday the same day he was due to start the long drive back in his van from the fishing and tourist town of Palomares in Almeria to Essex where he lives. The retired builder and locksmith, from Leigh-on-Sea, had been staying at a friend’s apartment. And today his worried loved ones revealed police had begun a search for the pensioner as the mystery of his whereabouts deepened and they said a neighbour had seen him leaving the property – but a friend who then let himself in after Paul went missing found belongings of his including a computer and clothes inside. However, the family weren’t alone, as they were joined by a couple of A-list friends. In a photo shared by Olympic champion Eileen Gu, it was revealed that Harry had been joined by the athlete, alongside former Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.
