Meet Martin Clunes’ daughter who refused the ‘nepo baby’ spotlight
Martin Clunes and his wife, Philippa Braithwaite, share one daughter together, and she is determined not to be branded as a nepo-baby despite both parents working in the television industry. The Wuthering Heights star is back on screens, this time portraying former BBC Newsreader Huw Edwards in Channel 5’s drama series Power: The Downfall Of Huw Edwards, and despite his acting success, there is no chance his child will follow in his footsteps. Welcoming their daughter Emily Clunes, 26, in 1999, Martin and Phillipa moved to the Dorset countryside in 2007 to raise their only child away from the glare of London’s spotlight. The actor and film producer relocated to the 130-acre Meerhay Farm in West Dorset’s Beaminster so that they could have access to fields for Emily’s pony.
