The officer, John Spillman, had earlier worked on exterior security screening for President Donald Trump’s appearance Sunday at the PGA Tour’s Cadillac Championship, which was being held at the Trump National Doral. Spillman was held at the Miami-Dade County Jail in lieu of a $1,000 bond on Monday, online jail records showed. The 33-year-old has been placed on administrative leave from the Secret Service, the agency said.
