Eraldo Peres/AP hide caption toggle caption Eraldo Peres/AP RIO DE JANEIRO — Brazil’s former President Jair Bolsonaro has pneumonia and is receiving treatment in an intensive care unit, a hospital in the capital, Brasilia, said Friday. One of his doctors, Brasil Caiado, told journalists that the 70-year-old’s medical situation was serious. “Pneumonia in patients over 70 is always serious because it can progress to septicemia, since the bacteria can normally enter the bloodstream and cause an even more severe condition,” Caiado said. Earlier in the day, Bolsonaro’s eldest son Flávio said on X that his father was being transferred from prison to a hospital after waking up with chills and vomiting. “I ask for prayers that it not be anything serious,” Flávio wrote. Is CS2 More GPU or CPU Intensive Game?

With the release of Counter-Strike 2, many players upgrading from CS:GO are asking a crucial performance question: is CS2 more CPU or GPU intensive? The answer isn’t as simple as choosing one component over the other. CS2 introduces the Source 2 engine, improved visuals, dynamic lighting, volumetric smokes, and more complex physics – changes that affect how both your processor and graphics card are used. Understanding CS2 performance CPU vs GPU behavior is essential if you want smoother gameplay, higher FPS, and better consistency in competitive matches. In this article, we’ll break down how CS2 uses hardware, what the real bottlenecks are, and how to approach CS2 FPS optimization intelligently – helping you stay competitive in-game and confidently manage your inventory, whether you play to win or plan to sell CS2 skins when market opportunities arise. How CS2 Uses System Resources CS2 is still a competitive shooter at heart, which means high frame rates and low latency matter more than ultra-realistic visuals. However, compared to CS:GO, CS2 does far more in real time. The …

Man in Intensive Care Unit After Slamming Liquid Nitrogen Cocktail That Ruptured His Stomach

There’s perhaps no greater shortcut to a bit of pseudo-scientific flare than a splash of liquid nitrogen, a long-time staple of experimental culinary drama thanks to celebrity chefs like Heston Blumenthal and Ferran Adrià. Decades after the rise of molecular gastronomy, it seems the gimmick still hasn’t fully evaporated. Case in point, a Moscow man was hospitalized recently after taking a shot which contained un-evaporated liquid nitrogen at an office holiday party, per Baza, a Russian-language online publication. The incident took place at a “culinary studio” called “Igra Stolov,” a culinary edutainment space in Moscow offering cooking classes, children’s events, and corporate retreats. According to Baza, a celebrity chef was using liquid nitrogen as part of a “cryo-show,” which included fancy cocktails and shots flash-chilled with the stuff. The man who drank the chilling brew, described only as a 38-year-old named Sergei, apparently downed it immediately after the liquid nitrogen was poured, not allowing it time to safely evaporate. Instead, the cryogen made its way down his esophagus where it expanded rapidly, rupturing his stomach. …
