BookCon 2026: ‘Heated Rivalry’ author Rachel Reid and show creator Jacob Tierney are in conversation for the first time

The first panel at BookCon drew lines of fans an hour before its start. Fans have shown up in style. I spotted dozens of iterations of t-shirts with the faces of actors Hudson Williams and Connor Storie plastered on them. Boston Raiders, Montreal Metros, and New York Admirals jerseys are in abundance, too. 3,000 fans are here, waiting to see Rachel Reid and Jacob Tierney in conversation for the first time. But while this may be the first public conversation between the Heated Rivalry author and show creator on a grand stage, it’s clear that these two have been in perfect sync since their first Zoom call. Moderated by former Teen Vogue editor-in-chief Versha Sharma, Reid and Tierney took to the stage at BookCon for a session called “Game Changing TV: Heated Rivalry.” The conversations spanned across their entire collaboration, from their very first DM to the music that makes the show, to how their lives have changed since the show aired. Tierney, whose knack for comedy shines through, discussed how the show moved at …

Jacob Elordi Takes Flight in Ridley Scott’s The Dog Stars Trailer

Jacob Elordi Takes Flight in Ridley Scott’s The Dog Stars Trailer

Jacob Elordi is keeping booked and busy, with his latest project on display during Disney’s CinemaCon presentation on Thursday. The thriller tells the story of Hig (played by Elordi), a young pilot who, together with a military survivalist, Bangley (Josh Brolin), has carved out an efficient but isolated homestead in a brutal post-apocalyptic world. But that changes when a mysterious radio transmission spurs Hig to venture into the unknown in search of the hope and humanity he still believes exists.  Ridley Scott is in the director’s chair, with a theatrical release date set for Aug. 28. Based on Peter Heller’s bestseller, the film also stars Margaret Qualley, Guy Pearce, Benedict Wong and Allison Janney. The film is written by Mark L. Smith and produced by Scott, Michael Pruss and Cliff Roberts.  The trailer arrived in Las Vegas — following a virtual appearance from Scott — at the same time it went public, and starts with Elordi and Qualley as a married couple excitedly bringing home a dog. Cut to a short time later and Elordi and …

The Euphoria cast from season one to now: Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, more

The Euphoria cast from season one to now: Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, more

Euphoria’s third season is finally upon us, and it’s only taken four years! The HBO drama will finally return to the airwaves on April 12, 2026, a large gap from the release of season two back in 2022, and taking its central characters away from their high school setting. The Sam Levinson show has received equal amounts of adoration and criticism, although has remained a firm viewer favorite for the entirety of its run, one of HBO’s most watched shows of all time. Jacob Elordi Dressed Like a Movie Star for the ‘Euphoria’ Premiere

Jacob Elordi Dressed Like a Movie Star for the ‘Euphoria’ Premiere

Euphoria’s highly anticipated third season lands on HBO on April 12, four years and countless discourse cycles after its previous chapter aired in 2022. The show’s action- and sex-packed promotional trailers suggest that, in the time since we last checked in with the wayward students of East Highland High, they’ve graduated and gone on to become, presumably, drug traffickers, sex workers, and construction scions. But at the Los Angeles premiere of its third (and rumored final) season last night, it felt like we were witnessing a parallel graduation for the actors who first appeared on the show as Hollywood ingénues way back in 2019. Zendaya, who has won two Emmys for her portrayal of the show’s anti-heroine protagonist Rue, is one of Hollywood’s brightest under-30 megastars; she’s currently making headlines for her buzzy plotline in The Drama, in which acts opposite Robert Pattinson. (She will soon begin promotion for her role in The Odyssey, which also features Pattinson.) Sydney Sweeney, who also earned an Emmy nomination for her turn on Euphoria as Cassie, is also …

‘Euphoria’ Premiere: Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, and More Were Together for the First Time in Years

‘Euphoria’ Premiere: Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, and More Were Together for the First Time in Years

Though the screening was scheduled to start at 7 p.m., none of the stars of the show even arrived until after that time. The audience started to get a little antsy about an hour later, even attempting to start a chant in the theater to get things going. Zendaya, wearing a stunning backless halter gown by Ashi Studio, was the last to arrive, and flew down the carpet and into the theater around 8 p.m., greeting friends and fans on her way to her seat. Sweeney, wearing a white archival Pierre Cardin dress, also made her way to her own seat, joining her current beau, Scooter Braun, and greeting him with a quick kiss. “Many of you had to move mountains to make this schedule work,” HBO CEO Casey Bloys said to the stars ahead of the screening. “I want to thank you. Actually, I should thank your agents, lawyers, and managers, who yelled at me several times over the last two years—but it all worked out.” Euphoria creator Sam Levinson became emotional when he …

Jacob Elordi Commissioned a Custom Gold Tooth in Honor of Cathy and Heathcliff

Jacob Elordi Commissioned a Custom Gold Tooth in Honor of Cathy and Heathcliff

This is the second grill Raksha has custom-made for Elordi, whom he also supplies with vintage watches (an Audemars Piguet Bamboo Day-Date Moonphase in 18k gold, if you were wondering). It’s also the second sentimental piece they’ve made together. “The first grill we did for him was a memento of him being brought on to Bottega [Veneta],” says Raksha, referring to Elordi’s arrangement as a friend of the house. He made the actor a gold window-style piece, set with an emerald. “The green is reminiscent of the brand’s [signature] green.” While the business of intricately-themed press tour outfits is booming (his co-star Robbie has been orchestrating a doozy), Raksha says this was less red-carpet pageantry and more emotional. “He’s a fashionable guy. He’s creative. I think he wanted a memento,” says Raksha. “This is Jacob’s memento to Wuthering Heights. As his personal jeweler, we’re here to actualize these fun ideas. That’s what we do as a brand. We create these timeless objects that have deeper meaning intertwined into them.” Raksha adds, “Jacob found us because …

Is Jacob Elordi The New James Bond? 20 Actors Rumoured To Play 007

It’s now been almost five years since Daniel Craig’s departure from the James Bond franchise in No Time To Die – and somehow there’s still been no confirmation of who will be succeeding him as 007. Over the last year, there have been some behind-the-scenes developments for the James Bond franchise, with a new creative team taking control and an Oscar-nominated filmmaker having now been chosen to direct the next instalment. However, if reports are to be believed, the race to cast the new Bond is really starting to heat up. For some time, it looked like the role was Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s for the taking, but since then, Callum Turner has been rumoured to be the hot contender for the role. Meanwhile, off the back of Wuthering Heights’ box office success, it now looks like a certain Australian star may also be a hot favourite for the job. As we dive into the latest 007 speculation, here are 20 stars who’ve all been rumoured for the job… Who is he? The Australian actor has been …

11 Jacob Elordi Roles He Played Before Wuthering Heights And Frankenstein

Over the last few years, Jacob Elordi has become one of the most in-demand actors in Hollywood. Hot off his first Academy Award nomination for his performance in Guillermo Del Toro’s adaptation of Frankenstein, he’s now appearing alongside Margot Robbie as Heathcliff in Emerald Fennell’s much-talked-about interpretation of Wuthering Heights. The Australian actor first became a household name thanks to his role in Euphoria, and went on to wow Hollywood with performances in Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla and the headline-grabbing Saltburn.
