PinkPantheress brought out a gaggle of special guests for her weekend two set at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The internet’s favorite heartthrob actor Tyriq Withers frequently appeared during the set, much like he did during weekend one, which took place at the Mojave tent. But this weekend, the “Stateside” singer decided to up the ante, brining out several big name guests throughout the night. In an unsurprisingly move, fellow pop star Zara Larsson came out during PinkPantheress’ set — fans had begun speculating earlier in the weekend when Larsson was spotted at Coachella. However, it was a surprise that Larsson didn’t join PinkPantheress for the set’s opening song, the remix of “Stateside,” which Larsson is featured on. Instead, the 28-year-old Swedish singer-songwriter came out alone and performed the titular song off her last album, Midnight Sun. Larsson thanked the crowd and seemingly teased that PinkPantheress will feature on the newly announced deluxe version of Midnight Sun, dubbed Girls Trip. Artsy and Artnet are being brought under the same ownership, consolidating two of the art world’s largest online platforms across data, media, auctions, and e-commerce. The companies said Wednesday that they will continue to operate as separate brands, even as they combine their underlying infrastructure and data. The move follows Beowolff Capital’s acquisition of a controlling stake in Artsy and its decision last year to take Artnet private, bringing both businesses under the same umbrella. Statistically speaking, this should come as no surprise. Over the past half century, Latinos went from making up a negligible fraction of Border Patrol agents to constituting half of the entire force. Latinos have been central to the work done by the Border Patrol for decades. But when ProPublica first revealed the agents’ identities, back in February, I noticed progressives recoiling online at the thought that Latinos would participate in Donald Trump’s mass-deportation campaign, and in the most violent way possible. That impulse, I think, stems from a still-common inclination to see Latinos as one-dimensional actors motivated primarily by their sense of solidarity with other Latinos. An accompanying, usually unspoken, belief is that feelings of ethnic solidarity ought to be more important than people’s differing views of what’s right and just. Four federally recognized tribes in Maine are stepping directly into a federal lawsuit over the state’s new online gambling law, moving to defend a system that gives them exclusive access to the casino market. In a filing dated April 1, 2026, the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians, Mi’kmaq Nation, Passamaquoddy Tribe, and Penobscot Nation, together known as the Wabanaki Nations, asked the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine to let them join the case as defendants.
