Donny Osmond celebrates joyous life update with ‘sweetheart’ wife Debbie

Donny Osmond had much to celebrate on Friday, marking a major milestone with his “sweetheart” wife, Debbie. The 68-year-old penned a touching tribute to celebrate “48 wonderful years” of marriage, alongside a sweet photo of the couple embracing against a picturesque backdrop. “When you get right down to it, life goes by fast. It’s hard to believe it’s been 48 years since I made eternal vows to my sweetheart in the Salt Lake City Temple,” Donny wrote on Instagram. “Together, we’ve built a life full of love, memories, and family—and I’d choose you all over again,” he added. “I love you, sweetheart.” Recommended videoYou may also likeWATCH: Donny Osmond shares rare glimpse of adorable grandchildren Donny also added text over the photo alongside a wedding ring graphic, writing: “Celebrating 48 wonderful years with my best friend.” The veteran performer is no stranger to public declarations of love and penned an equally gushing tribute on the 47th wedding anniversary last year. © InstagramDonny shared this photo to celebrate his 48th wedding anniversary “Thank you, Debbie, for …

‘Stabbed in the Face soundtracked an incredibly joyous time’: the weirdest songs we find romantic | Music

Wolf Eyes – Stabbed in the Face By Easter 2004, I’d been in a relationship with my partner, Maria, for four months and I was just realising how deeply in love I was. We had become inseparable. A magazine sent me to the ATP festival at Pontins in Camber Sands to interview “the Beastie Boys of noise”, Wolf Eyes. The interview fell to pieces when the band, in a state of great psychic refreshment, all wearing Manowar T-shirts, refused to stop watching a Manowar DVD and signalled they would only answer questions if they related to Manowar. The rest of the day was exemplary – one of the best ever – walking on the beach, visiting record shops, watching the most incredible music curated by Sonic Youth. When Maria and I got back to our B&B room that evening, I fired up the CD player, which contained a pre-release copy of the new Wolf Eyes album, Burned Mind, containing the single Stabbed in the Face. But now its howling feedback and tinnitus machine noise sounded …

Harry Styles: Aperture review – a joyous, quietly radical track made for hugging strangers on a dancefloor | Harry Styles

Now the proud owner of six Brits, three Grammys and seven UK Top 10 singles, it’s fair to say Harry Styles has elegantly sidestepped the potholes that pepper the route from ex-boyband member to solo superstar. His well-earned confidence means that rather than fill the gap between 2022’s Harry’s House and last week’s announcement of his fourth album – the confusingly-titled Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally – with various one-off releases, spurious anniversary variants or curated social media moments, Styles basically disappeared. In fact, the only sliver of excitement for his fanbase to grab on to came last September when he ran the Berlin marathon in a very respectable 2hr 59min. Having endured the music industry at the height of its #content-heavy obsession in One Direction, there’s something old-fashioned about Styles’ absence between album eras. That’s unlikely to be accidental: since launching his solo career with 2017’s muted, 1970s soft-rock-indebted self-titled debut, Styles has cast himself as a cross-generational throwback beamed into the present, albeit one sporting fashion choices that rile gender conformists. Each …
