The 29-year-old beauty brand owner secured Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment for her skincare business, which she launched after discovering a “cure” for her acne – and it was glaringly inevitable from week one that she would win the series. In all 20 years of the show, there has not been a contestant who has exuded such likeability, justifiable confidence, and, believe it or not, common sense. Not even her finale rival Pascha Myhill, whose evolution throughout the series was a joy to watch, could rival Karishma. Pascha – the show’s youngest contestant at 21 – was seeking investment for her recruitment business and, in the last episode, nailed a pitch to a room filled with business experts, which, …

The 28-year-old beauty entrepreneur triumphed in an all-female final on Thursday, securing Lord Sugar’s coveted investment after a competitive showdown against fellow finalist Pascha Myhill. Her victory follows another significant personal milestone, as Ms Vijay recently announced her engagement on social media, sharing photographs with her fiancé. Reacting to her win, Vijay said: “I actually can’t believe my life right now. Things keep happening. I’m just having a really good week. “I think people are happy to see me happy. A couple of years ago, I was single, I called off a wedding, ran away from it all – very dramatic, Bollywood movie-esque. “Now, I’m here with my happy ending and also a lot of money …

The Apprentice 2026 winner reveals she thought Lord Sugar was going to hire differently

The Apprentice 2026 winner Karishma Vijay has revealed she thought Lord Sugar was going to hire both her and runner-up Pascha Myhill in the final moments of the episode. Tonight (16 April), saw Karishma and Pascha go head-to-head in one finale task in a bid to win Lord Alan Sugar’s investment. Supported by returning candidates, the finalists were tasked with launching their business to a room full of industry experts and even past winners. After pitching to the masses, developing a trailer and logo for their brand, it all came down to one final plea in the boardroom as both candidates shared why they thought they were deserving of the £250,000 cash injection into their business. After much deliberation, Lord Sugar decided to invest in Karishma, despite him not having a bad word to say against Pascha’s pitch, suggesting as though he could have gone in a different direction – something he’s only done once before. In an exclusive chat with Radio Times, Karishma shared she thought at a point Lord Sugar was going to …

After 12 tough weeks, the final of The Apprentice arrived as the remaining two candidates went head-to-head in a battle to win Lord Alan Sugar’s investment. Earlier this year, a whopping 20 candidates entered the infamous boardroom, all armed with stacked business plans and dreams of becoming his next business partner, as well as a £250,000 cash injection into their business. But as the weeks went on, the candidates began to drop like flies until just two – Pascha Myhill and Karishma Vijay – remained in the running. And after much deliberation in the boardroom, Karishma Vijay was crowned the winner of this year’s This Apprentice. Karishma Vijay. BBC/Naked (A Freemantle Label)/Ray Burmiston Tonight’s episode saw the finalists launch their business to a room full of industry experts and some legends from the last 20 years, including Margaret Mountford and Nick Hewer and three incredible past season winners, Dr Leah Totton, Ricky Martin and Dean Franklin. They then returned to the boardroom one last time, as Lord Sugar, Karren Brady and Tim Campbell all deliberated and …

A quarter of a century after The Fellowship of the Ring hit cinemas, it often feels as if everyone’s still puzzling this out, like one of those Einstein theories that took decades for scientists to be able to prove correct. Peter Jackson’s JRR Tolkien adaptations seemed to do the impossible, transforming nerdish high fantasy into blockbuster fare that was both critically acclaimed and widely popular. Most every subsequent attempt to do the same – barring, perhaps, the front-loaded Game of Thrones phenomenon – has failed to bottle that same lightning. This is the big problem facing The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, a new film set in Jackson’s version of Middle Earth. Neither prequel nor sequel, the film squeezes itself into an ellipses in the original Fellowship, and …

The recasting was announced during the studio’s presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Tuesday. Dornan will be credited as Strider, the alias Aragorn uses when he is first introduced in The Fellowship of the Ring. In March, Knight Edge Media speculated that White Lotus actor Leo Woodall would take on the role. The speculation can rest now, with Warner Bros confirming Woodall is indeed joining the cast but as Halvard, a Dúnedain who joins Strider on the hunt. Kate Winslet joins as Marigol, matriarch of the Stoors. Jamie Dornan is taking on the role …

It was adapted for film, for television, and became a staple of classrooms across the world. So, there was an anxiety about this delayed extension of the saga. Was this a cash grab? A desperate stab at relevance? Would it sully its predecessor? And then The Testaments came out and it was… good. So good it won the Booker Prize. That’s where the new Disney+ adaptation picks up: with a story that feels fresh and vital and every bit as compelling as the original. Agnes Mackenzie (Chase Infiniti) is the daughter of a commander in the theocratic, patriarchal state of Gilead. She attends an elite finishing school run by the formidable Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd), where she …

Maul – Shadow Lord breaks Star Wars record with Rotten Tomatoes score

The latest animated addition to the Star Wars universe has gone down incredibly well with critics and fans alike, securing a record high rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
