The London-based Liverpudlian is among the most talked-about designers on this season’s schedule. In May last year, McDowell was presented with the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design by the Princess of Wales, and later that month Sarah Jessica Parker wore a custom Patrick McDowell floral skirt and shirt in And Just Like That, further cementing the label’s position within high fashion.
