Every best picture winner of 21st century ranked – from Crash to Moonlight

Heading into this Sunday’s Academy Awards in Los Angeles, the best picture race seems to have solidified largely around two films: Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another and Ryan Coogler’s Sinners. Both films have their passionate champions, and either would be pretty great winners of a prize which has thrown up a fascinating array of victors at recent ceremonies – a far cry from the years not so long ago where the category was mainly the domain of safe, rather middlebrow pictures. As we wait to see which of those likely winners prevails, we’ve gone back in time to the turn of the century to rank each of the last 25 winners in order from worst to best, and have published the list below, alongside our official Radio Times review for each winner. Of course, it’s always worth pointing out that such an exercise is inherently subjective – and it’s very possible that your own list could differ substantially from the one printed below – it’s certainly a varied group of films, some of …

16 Films, TV Shows That Came Out Decade Ago

The third Captain American movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Civil War was a somewhat prelude for what was to come with Avengers: Endgame. With nearly every superhero in the franchise present in the film at the time, Civil War also marked the debut of Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.  Nearly all the OG Avengers were featured in the film (Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner), plus a slew of (at the time) upcoming new additions in Anthony Mackie, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Sebastian Stan and Paul Bettany. The north side of the river mouth boasts a giant area of sand with several active beach volleyball courts near the street. The beach wraps north around the headland, offering a great strand for walking your pups or going for a jog. Note that the dog beach stops just south of the Del Mar Shores Stairway. The surf can be fun on the right tides, but it is most often best for beginners unless the waves reach over 3 feet and begin to close out quickly. It is a popular spot with foil boarders who like to practice on the rolling waves commonly found on smaller days. If you don’t like the occasional wag of a wet dog, you should pick another spot. There is a short trail leading up to the cliffs. From the top, you get a great view of the strand heading south into Del Mar with Torrey Pines and …
