UK scraps offshore wind tariffs, saving manufacturers millions
British manufacturers will save millions of pounds a year when the UK Government removes tariffs on offshore wind energy components from 1 April. Offshore wind tariffs will be removed on 33 industrial goods through a new measure to support progress towards the UK’s clean energy superpower mission. The measure will also enable British manufacturers to produce components at a lower cost and allow reinvestment in the clean energy sector.
