Moment predator who exposed himself to women on the Tube cries after being snared by police

Video footage has captured the moment a predator who terrorised women on a London train tells police “I’m regretting my actions”, as he is arrested. Ayman Yanoussi, 21, of Newham, exposed himself to several women on a station platform and on a District line train on the morning of December 28 last year. He was jailed at Inner London Crown Court on Thursday, April 16, for 14 months after previously pleading guilty to two counts of exposure, breaching a SHPO, and possessing cannabis. Footage published by British Transport Police of his arrest shows Yanoussi crying in the back of a police van, with his hands cuffed, as he reflects on his actions, telling officers: “I’m just thinking about what I’ve done”. Two weeks before the incident, Yanoussi was handed a Sexual Harm Prevention order (SHPO) for other sexual offences he had committed. In the video, Yanoussi can be heard telling police: “I’m regretting it”. Ayman Yanoussi, 21, was sentenced at Inner London Crown Court to 14 months’ imprisonment (BTP) A court previously heard how Yanoussi …

Instead, I saw a stranger ask her, “Do you like children?” She responded to the stranger: “I’m not a MAP.” I had never heard the term before. When I asked her what “MAP” meant, she simply answered that it stands for minor-attracted person. In that moment, I realized something unsettling but important: Children are encountering coded language online long before many parents even know it exists. Why I’m writing about this In my broader research on online harms to children and teens, I examine how the design and governance of websites and apps influence real‑world safety outcomes. My forthcoming research explores how social media platforms, messaging apps and gaming communities succeed and fail at …

Netflix’s ‘striking’ 3-part true crime series The Predator of Seville leaves viewers with ‘chills’

Netflix is one of the main platforms for true crime shows, and the streaming giant has recently released The Predator of Seville, and it’s been shooting up its charts, currently in fourth place in the United Kingdom, despite being out for less than a week. The show follows the story of Gabrielle Vega, a university student who was abroad in Spain when she was sexually assaulted by tour guide Manuel Blanco Vela. Although Gabrielle initially kept the attack to herself, when she shared the story on social media, many others came forward with their own experiences that mirrored her own. The episodes follow Gabrielle’s trip abroad, her social media post that prompted such a viral response, before culminating in Manuel’s trial. A synopsis for the three-part series reads: “One woman’s quest for justice against a tour guide in Spain sparks a surge of similar claims from many U.S. students over the years.” WATCH: See the trailer for The Predator of Seville What is the real story? Hooked by Asako Yuzuki – When Loneliness Becomes a Predator

Hooked by Asako Yuzuki – When Loneliness Becomes a Predator

Eriko Shimura is, on paper, the kind of woman who wins. She works at a prestigious Tokyo trading firm, lives in a spotless apartment, and moves through professional life with a composure that other women find both admirable and slightly unreadable. What she lacks — and what gradually consumes her — is a friend. Not a contact or a colleague, but a woman she can call something-chan: someone whose wedding she would attend, someone who would pick up her call, someone to go to the cinema with. She is thirty, successful, and entirely alone. Shōko, meanwhile, writes a popular lifestyle blog under the persona “Hallie B” — cheerful, laidback, frank about her mess. She and her easy-going husband live simply in Tokyo, and her blog documents a life of deliberate smallness. Her online persona is an edited version of contentment, maintained with practiced lightness, until someone decides to look behind it. Hooked by Asako Yuzuki opens with these two women orbiting the same city without touching, then brings them together with the quiet inevitability of …

War Machine review – Netflix bravely asks: what if Predator but Transformers? | Action and adventure films

War Machine review – Netflix bravely asks: what if Predator but Transformers? | Action and adventure films

You’d be forgiven for skipping past Netflix’s gory, militaristic action thriller War Machine at this particular moment. There is, after all, an actual war raging on (is there ever a good time, one could argue?) but those behind the film would likely use its sci-fi bent as a differentiation defense. The war being raged here is not between the US and a foreign earthly entity but rather one from somewhere above, our umpteenth soldiers v aliens matchup. It’s a clear “if you like” column filler for fans of Predator, Edge of Tomorrow or, if they exist, Battle: Los Angeles, yet unlike the many films it’s clearly inspired by, the extraterrestrials here are designed to resemble machines that could have originated from another country rather than another planet, robotic whirring over tentacle slithering. It gives the film a slightly generic sheen, like a cheaper Transformers spin-off, but it’s also thankfully devoid of the dreaded Netflix murk, that flattening filter that reduces most colours to grey, the film an acquisition from Lionsgate. Set in Colorado but shot …

Bill Clinton scrutinized over past relationship with sexual predator

Bill Clinton scrutinized over past relationship with sexual predator

Outside the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center (New York State), where Bill Clinton testified before the House of Representatives committee investigating ties between prominent figures and Jeffrey Epstein, on February 27, 2026. CHARLY TRIBALLEAU/AFP At 79 years old, Bill Clinton has left his political career behind. He seems to enjoy his status as a Democratic elder statesman, appearing at official funerals or on stage during the final stretch of election campaigns. But the Epstein case, and the shockwave caused by the partial release of federal records about the sexual predator, has forced the former president to endure a painful trial: once again confronting the fallout from his past infidelities. The day after his wife, former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, gave her testimony, Bill Clinton spent considerable time on Friday, February 27, responding to questions from the House Oversight Committee, whose members traveled to Chappaqua, New York. It was a historic event, in line with the magnitude of the case. Unlike the former presidential candidate, who claimed to have never met the financier who died in …

Intellexa’s Predator spyware used to hack iPhone of journalist in Angola, research says

A government customer of sanctioned spyware maker Intellexa hacked the phone of a prominent journalist in Angola, according to Amnesty International, the latest case of targeting someone in civil society with powerful phone-hacking software. The human rights organization published a new report Tuesday analyzing several hacking attempts against local journalist and press freedom activist Teixeira Cândido, in which he was sent a series of malicious links via WhatsApp during 2024.  Cândido eventually clicked on one and his iPhone was hacked with Intellexa’s spyware, dubbed Predator, Amnesty found. The new research shows again that government customers of commercial surveillance vendors are increasingly using spyware to target journalists, politicians, and other ordinary citizens, including critics. Researchers have previously found evidence of Predator abuse in Egypt, Greece, and Vietnam, where the government reportedly targeted U.S. officials by sending the spyware via links on X.   Contact Us Do you have more information about Intellexa? GENDARMERIE NATIONALE/AFP At least 89 teenage victims of rape or sexual assault identified across nine countries; USB drives that contained “Memoirs” recounting an unthinkable criminal journey that spanned more than five decades and five continents; the murders of two members of the man’s family.
