Prince William leaves public in stitches as he makes phone blunder | Royal | News

The Prince of Wales answers the phone to a customer (Image: PA) The Prince of Wales mistakenly called a woman “juicy” as he helped take orders at a local farm shop in Cornwall this afternoon. William, who is also known as the Duke of Cornwall, helped serve customers at Gear Farm Pasty Company, near Helston, and even took an order over the phone. While chatting with the woman and seeking answers to her questions from staff, the prince placed an order for five fresh and 10 frozen pasties. However, he appeared confused by the response she gave when he asked for her name. “Juicy?” he asked, prompting laughter from those gathered inside the shop. Smiling, he said: “Oh, Josie! Prince William is ‘banned’ from using e-scooter at new home | Royal | News

Prince William has reportedly been banned from using his e-scooter since moving into the couple’s new home, Forest Lodge, last year. There is a ban on all “motorised transport”, such as e-scooters, hoverboards and one-wheels, at the Crown estate. These vehicles are not allowed for “safety reasons and traffic management”. An insider has said: “William used to love his e-scooter to get around the castle as there was no ban. “But of course he’s more than happy and prepared to adhere to the rules on e-scooters in Windsor Great Park.” The Sun previously shared William’s love for e-scooters in an article in July 2023 when he was filmed enjoing a ride by a tourist. He also arrived to his meeting with Eugene Levy at the castle on his e-scooter for an episode of the actor’s The Reluctant Traveller docuseries on Apple TV+.
