Khloé Kardashian is getting a(nother) new reality series, but she’ll stay mainly off-camera for this one. Kardashian is executive producing a new Hulu reality show, The Girls, which is set to premiere this year. The series will follow her “inner circle of real-life besties,” per Hulu. These besties are “raising babies, running businesses and surviving brutally honest group chats.” God Bless them. The series will include “surprise proposals” and “solo parenting,” as well as “glam getaways” and “growing pains.” Kardashian will appear in the episodes but isn’t a part of the main cast, The Hollywood Reporter understands. The Girls are comprised of Natalie Halcro (@nataliehalcro), Khadijah Haqq (@foreverkhadijah), Malika Haqq (@malika), Yris Palmer (@yrispalmer), Olivia Pierson (@oliviapierson) and Nicole Williams English (@justnic). Now, the news has also been shared that he will be producing a reboot of another sci-fi classic franchise: Animorphs. Aptera co-CEO Steve Fambro posted a data point this morning that neatly illustrates what his company has been trying to build for more than a decade: his solar electric vehicle was generating more electricity from the sun than his house was. Just after 8 a.m., Fambro said his home rooftop was producing 136 watts of solar power while the Aptera sitting outside was putting more than 300W — more than double. Obviously, this is a particular example highlighting different solar optimization strategies, but neat nonetheless. Lifetime is entering the microdrama game with a series tied to one of its upcoming original movies. The show is called Tides of Temptation, and it counts Taye Diggs among its executive producers. The microdrama will be a digital offshoot/world expansion for the cable network’s movie Terry McMillan Presents: Paradise With You, starring and exec produced by Diggs. The microdrama and the movie — one of three coming to Lifetime’s “Love of a Lifetime” film franchise — were part of Lifetime’s announcements at A+E Global Media’s upfront presentation Wednesday.
