UFC Renames Apex the Meta Apex in Sponsorship Deal

Meta and UFC are expanding on the partnership they first struck last year, with the tech giant scoring naming rights to the UFC’s Las Vegas facility, which will be renamed the Meta Apex. The naming rights come amid a significant expansion of the facility, which will include making tickets to UFC events at the venue available to the public for the first time, with Meta branding throughout the venue. The Apex has hosted nealy 200 events since opening in 2019, including 112 Fight Nights, 70 episodes of Dana White’s Contender Series, and four UFC BJJ events. It will also house some event for Zuffa Boxing, the new boxing promotion that UFC owner TKO is launching this year. Las Vegas, of course, is a major destination for fight fans, and the added experiential opportunities are another way to bolster the UFC brand and grow revenue. CBS Quietly Renames Yellowstone Spinoff Y: Marshals to Just Marshals

Why, Marshals? CBS has quietly changed the title of Taylor Sheridan’s next-coming Yellowstone spinoff Y: Marshals to just Marshals. Why ditch the Y? Well, maybe because it just sounds cleaner. Or maybe it’s because the guy who created the Yellowstone universe is ditching Paramount. Y: Marshals was a working title, a CBS rep told The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday, and now the series has been finalized as just Marshals. That’s both accurate and a bit inaccurate. When Y: Marshals was first announced on May 7, 2025, it did come with the “working title” designation. But all subsequent press materials dropped the “working title” part, which is stylized as a parenthetical — the standard Hollywood formatting — from the title. In the most-recent press release about the series, circulated on Nov. 24, the series was still called Y: Marshals, and in private communications from CBS to THR the following day, it was Y: Marshals.
