Nike Is Resurrecting Its OG Sneaker
Nike is taking it back to basics. After a soft launch with Jacquemus last year that made for one of the It shoes of the last 12 months, the Swoosh is bringing back the silhouette that started it all for them: the Nike Moon Shoe. For the inaugural colorway of the shoe’s in-house return, Nike has crafted a Moon Shoe with a leather and nylon upper, much smoother and structured than the crinkly nylon of the Jacquemus iteration. The colorway is kept simple, with a rich white upper accented by a big, black Swoosh. That classic waffle-spiked sole comes in black rubber. It’s as simple as sneakers get, a retro go-to that’ll finish near any outfit you pair it with in style.
