Alan Ritchson makes cryptic post about an ‘enemy’ after punching neighbor

Alan Ritchson has sparked intrigue among fans after sharing a cryptic message on social media, just days after he was cleared of wrongdoing following a physical altercation with a neighbour. The Reacher star took to Instagram on Monday night, posting a quote from former French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte that read: “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.” Notably, the Hollywood actor chose not to add any caption, allowing the pointed message to stand entirely on its own. The timing of the post did not go unnoticed. It came shortly after news broke that Alan had been involved in a bloody street brawl with a neighbor, later identified as Ronnie Taylor, in Brentwood, Tennessee. While the incident initially raised questions, authorities have since confirmed that the actor will face no charges. © InstagramAlan left a cryptic post after his altercation with a neighbour Fans quickly rallied behind the 41-year-old in the comments section of his post, interpreting the quote as a subtle response to the situation. “I know you’re way too good of …

Alan Ritchson Alleged Assault Being Investigated by Tennessee Police

Police officers in the Nashville suburb of Brentwood, Tennessee are currently investigating an alleged assault that occurred over the weekend involving Reacher star Alan Ritchson. TMZ broke the story by publishing a video that reportedly features Ritchson in an altercation with a neighbor named Ronnie Taylor. The man said that the situation unfolded over two days, beginning on Saturday when he claimed he witnessed Ritchson speeding through the neighborhood on a motorcycle causing a disturbance. To show his displeasure, Taylor claims he raised a middle finger to Ritchson and the actor returned the gesture. Then on Sunday, Taylor tells TMZ that he spotted Ritchson on his motorcycle again, this time joined by two individuals who are believed to be the actor’s young sons, also on motorbikes. Taylor claims that he asked Ritchson, “Can you fucking stop this please?”, at which point the situation allegedly turned physical. Ritchson is seen in the video punching Taylor in the grass on his front lawn. Ritchson’s green Kawasaki motorcycle is in the street while the two individuals witness the …

‘Reacher’ Star Alan Ritchson Talks ‘War Machine’ and Matching Tattoos

If his breakout success on Prime Video’s global smash Reacher proved anything, it’s that Alan Ritchson always rises to the challenge. (Case in point: On the last season, he faced off with and ultimately defeated a towering foe in the form of Olivier Richters, a 7’2’’, 350-lb. brute who played security guard Paul Masserella aka Paulie.) But his newest project, Netflix’s War Machine from filmmaker Patrick Hughes, demanded new feats of physicality that nearly broke him. “It was hard. I’m not going to lie, this was the most I’ve ever been pushed physically, and it was the most I’ve ever doubted my own ability to finish,” Ritchson revealed to The Hollywood Reporter. Spoiler alert: He finished and the results are currently on streaming, so it’s easy to find evidence to back up his bold statement. War Machine, not to be confused with the Brad Pitt-starrer of the same name on Netflix (more on that below), stars Ritchson as a combat engineer known only as “81.” After witnessing the tragic death of his brother while in …

Alan Ritchson in Netflix’s Basic Sci-Fi Actioner

Alan Ritchson in Netflix’s Basic Sci-Fi Actioner

Action movies don’t get more generic than this second Netflix movie featuring the exact same title as the 2017 Brad Pitt starrer (good luck on your searches). War Machine stars Alan Ritchson of Reacher fame as the leader of a platoon of U.S. Rangers who have the bad luck of encountering a giant killer robot from outer space that seems to be left over from War of the Worlds. The sort of mindless time-killer that will boost your testosterone level while watching it, the film seems perfectly designed for those born too late to have seen the original Predator, or any of its 80s and 90s-era clones, during their theatrical runs. Ritchson’s character, known only as “81,” is given a cursory backstory in the form of an opening scene — set two years before the main action — depicting a tragic military incident involving his brother (an unfortunately underused Jai Courtney) in Kandahar. Cue the subsequent flashbacks as 81 frequently relives his trauma at inopportune moments. War Machine The Bottom Line Not all it could …

A trio of performers have been added to Amazon MGM Studios‘ untitled feature focusing on former Navy SEAL Mike Thornton. Kodi Smit-McPhee, Aden Young and Sam Rechner have joined the cast of director Patrick Hughes’ film, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. The previously announced castmembers include Alan Ritchson, Joe Cole, Hoa Xuande, Brian Duong, Duy Nguyen and Kyle Allen. Based on a true story, the project is set in the final days of the Vietnam War and centers on Navy SEAL Thornton (Ritchson) as he leads a mission to rescue five men stuck behind enemy lines in North Vietnam. The film highlights Thornton’s efforts as he was pursued by 150 soldiers and later swam for hours through the South China Sea with both a wounded lieutenant and fellow soldier tied to him. Thornton’s actions earned him the Congressional Medal of Honor. Hughes (The Hitman’s Bodyguard) helmed the film from a script by Ritchson, Mark Semos and Jason Hall (American Sniper). Producers include Sylvester Stallone and D. Matt Geller for Balboa Productions, Todd Lieberman and …
