Tourettes campaigner Davidson was attending the ceremony to celebrate the success of I Swear, which was based on his extraordinary life and efforts to raise awareness of the condition. Davidson, who has completely uncontrollable tics, could be heard shouting the slur as actors Michael B Jordan and Delroy Lindo presented the award for special effects after the BBC failed to edit it out. Chase Infiniti, Miles Caton Score 2026 Nods

The BAFTA Rising Star Award nominees are in, and Hollywood talents Chase Infiniti and Miles Caton are among the up-and-coming actors to watch. Three Brits line up alongside them: Robert Aramayo for his lead performance in Kirk Jones’ I Swear, a biographical drama about a Scot with Tourette’s syndrome, Saltburn‘s Archie Madekwe, who this year co-starred in Alex Russell’s psychological thriller Lurker, and Posy Sterling, a British Independent Film Award winner for Daisy-May Hudson’s Lollipop. Infiniti is, of course, the star of Paul Thomas Anderson’s political thriller One Battle After Another — so far the major winner this awards season — and tipped for an Oscar nod for her performance as Willa. Caton has impressed the industry with his first film role in Ryan Coogler’s slick vampire horror Sinners opposite Michael B. Jordan, which took home the Golden Globe for box office achievement on Sunday.
