’80s star Mickey Rourke evicted from longtime LA home following court judgement
Mickey Rourke has been evicted from his home in Los Angeles, according to a court judgement made on Monday. The court documents detail that his rental home, which he has reportedly lived in for more than a decade, would return to the possession of the landlord after the judgment was entered “by default”. This means that Mickey likely did not respond to the initial complaint. The court also ordered that the rental agreement be canceled and the lease forfeited, with the judgment stating that it was for “possession only”, so the landlord would have control over the property but would receive no financial damages. According to court filings from December, Mickey had been ordered to repay the $59,100 he owed in rent to the landlord or vacate the property. He was seen moving out of the home in January and has been living in a hotel in West Hollywood ever since. © Getty ImagesMickey has been evicted from his LA home Mickey’s financial plight garnered publicity in January when his manager’s assistant created a GoFundMe …
