The Whirlwind Voyage of Demi Moore’s Schiaparelli Couture Gown

The Whirlwind Voyage of Demi Moore’s Schiaparelli Couture Gown

Demi Moore arrived at the 2026 Actor Awards, formerly known as the SAG Awards, on Sunday night wearing a Schiaparelli couture gown by Daniel Roseberry. The look—a skintight black bustier dress with a trompe l’oeil crocodile tail on the front and a bursting cloud of white tulle at the back—first appeared in January on Roseberry’s couture runway for the label. Moore, and her stylist Brad Goreski, sat front row at that show. We are used to seeing dresses go from the runway to the red carpet, and often assume this to be something like a magic trick. That the internet has popularized side-by-side images of these moments has done little to demystify the process. The reality is that getting a look—any look, be that a custom dress or a runway outfit—on a celebrity is a journey that involves a relentless stylist, a willing designer, an effective publicist, and an army of steadfast assistants. Plus, it must be said, some proper mileage and, regrettably so, a certain carbon footprint. But hey, those flights would be happening …

Yerin Ha on Her First Awards Show, That Bridgerton Bathtub Scene, and Dressing “Out of Your Comfort Zone”

Yerin Ha on Her First Awards Show, That Bridgerton Bathtub Scene, and Dressing “Out of Your Comfort Zone”

Ha has experienced her share of pinch me moments—an encouraging message from K-Pop Demon Hunters star Arden Cho and a social media follow from Trisha Paytas among them. But she’s still weary of her newfound spotlight. “It is super anxiety-inducing. My imposter syndrome was flaring up again last night,” says Ha, “and my agent sent me a video of Eileen Gu, the snowboarder who won the silver for the Olympics.” The athlete’s words resonated with Ha: “You can control what you think. You can control how you think. And therefore, you can control who you are.” The actor said she spent that morning meditating on this topic. “I sat on the balcony with my coffee being proud of how far I’ve come,” said Ha, “that they’ve given me this ambassador position for a reason and that it’s not just all based on luck.” The pep talk helped calm her down, as did snacking on Justin’s Peanut Butter Cups and listening to some Beyoncé. “She has her alter ego, Sasha Fierce, and sometimes I have to …

How Quinta Brunson Finds Her Balance

How Quinta Brunson Finds Her Balance

Brunson said the Actor Awards, formerly known as the SAG Awards, are a personal favorite.Emma Beiles Howie But she’s also aware that viewers find comfort in the characters after getting to know them over the years, especially with as many as 22 episodes a season. “I think with the sitcom, it’s a balance of giving people the quirks and the funny parts of the characters’ personalities that audiences come for, right? People are coming to the TV on Wednesday night to see the people they know and know the people they see,” she said. “And it can be easy to want to rest in those quirks and the comedic beats that people are counting for, and you want to. You don’t want to abandon those. But in our show, there’s emphasis on the characters growing and changing.” Her character, Janine, has certainly grown throughout the show. “She was previously a very naive, very optimistic character, and now she knows a little bit more,” Brunson says. “She knows a lot more.” Brunson has evolved too. “It’s …

The Best Watches of the Actor Awards 2026

The Best Watches of the Actor Awards 2026

Tuxes are still the go-to choice for the red carpet these days, but just about anything goes when it comes to a black-tie watch. Last night’s Actor Awards presented by SAG-AFTRA (formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards) bore this out in a procession of elite timepieces ranging from complicated Omega calendar watches to obscure vintage Cartiers. Our take? If it tells time and looks good, anything and everything is fair game. Michael B. Jordan, Tyler, the Creator, and Jeremy Allen White made a good case for this stance with their diverse yet dialled-in choices, including the latter’s one-of-188 Louis Vuitton Monterey. Better still, should you choose a more traditional dress watch—as Adam Scott and Delroy Lindo did—it’s all the more noteworthy. Here are the night’s top contenders from both categories. Tyler, the Creator’s Cartier Vendome Photograph courtesy of Cartier; Getty Images Cartier has become a dominant presence on the red carpet of late, and thanks to their deep bench of slim, elegant, tux-worthy timepieces, it’s no wonder. The 9 Best-Dressed Men at the Actor Awards 2026, Ranked

The 9 Best-Dressed Men at the Actor Awards 2026, Ranked

This awards season has been relentless (doesn’t the Golden Globes feel like a decade ago?), but we’re in the homestretch now. Refreshingly, Sunday night’s 2026 Actor Awards—formerly known as the SAG Awards—shook up the race, with the Screen Actors Guild giving big prizes to the Americana-horror drama Sinners and its star, Michael B. Jordan. Jordan was also one of the best-dressed men of the evening, looking very much like a winner in his sharp, double-breasted gray suit from Haider Ackermann’s Tom Ford. There was also some fun risk-taking: Heated Rivalry breakout Connor Storrie (who more or less walked right onto the carpet from a cross-country flight after his Saturday Night Live hosting debut) paired his no-shirt suit from Saint Laurent with a sparkly Tiffany & Co. choker and Matrix sunglasses. And Adam Brody, who was nominated for his role in the Netflix comedy Nobody Wants This, rolled the dice in a bright yellow Prada shirt—and it worked! That said, we should point out that last night’s red carpet was, generally speaking, not the famous fellas’ …

SAG Actor Awards 2026: All the moments you missed – from Kristen Bell’s unusual monologue to Timothée Chalamet’s surprise date

SAG Actor Awards 2026: All the moments you missed – from Kristen Bell’s unusual monologue to Timothée Chalamet’s surprise date

Awards season is well and truly underway, with the 2026 Actor Awards, formerly the Screen Actors Guild Awards, taking place on Sunday night. Some of the biggest stars in Hollywood flocked to the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles to celebrate the best achievements in television and film over the past year.  As always, the night was full of surprise wins and touching moments, with Michael B. Jordan winning the top acting prize for his role in Sinners, while the late Catherine O’Hara was named best TV comedy actress for her role in The Studio. But what about the moments you might have missed? ‘Sinners’ Wins But Will It Impact Oscars?

‘Sinners’ Wins But Will It Impact Oscars?

For months, One Battle After Another was winning everything, including the top prizes at the Critics Choice Awards on Jan. 4, Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 11, Directors Guild Awards on Feb. 7, BAFTA Awards on Feb. 22 and Producers Guild Awards on Saturday. But at the Actor Awards (formerly the SAG Awards) on Sunday — the first day of March, and smack dab in the middle of the weeklong final round of Oscars voting — the other big Warner Bros. contender, Sinners, showed major signs of life. Indeed, Ryan Coogler’s blockbuster genre film walked away with the prize for best cast — vanquishing not only One Battle but also Hamnet, Marty Supreme and Frankenstein — and, in the night’s biggest surprise, best actor for Michael B. Jordan, calling into question the conventional wisdom about not only the best picture Oscar race, but also the long-presumed frontrunner status of Marty Supreme’s Timothée Chalamet in the best actor Oscar race (which was also dinged at last weekend’s BAFTA Awards). Before going any further, it must be acknowledged …

Actor Awards 2026 Snubs, Surprises: Timothée Chalamet, Keri Russell

Actor Awards 2026 Snubs, Surprises: Timothée Chalamet, Keri Russell

Despite critical acclaim and early awards accolades for his starring role in Marty Supreme, Timothée Chalamet suffered his second best actor loss at a high-profile Oscar precursor award show in a week, losing the Actor Award to Sinners‘ Michael B. Jordan after losing the BAFTA Awards’ best actor prize to surprise winner Robert Aramayo of I Swear. Additionally, Marty Supreme overall was shut out at the Actor Awards. The film seemed like a strong performer among SAG-AFTRA voters when nominations were announced earlier this year, with the Actor Awards even nominating Odessa A’zion for best supporting actress, as part of the film’s three nominations, including for the top prize of best cast. Marty Supreme did, however, receive somewhat of a viral marketing moment with host Kristen Bell’s star-studded table tennis tournament, the winner of which received a trophy that resembled Chalamet. Marty Supreme‘s fellow three-time Actor Award nominee Frankenstein also went home empty-handed at the ceremony that streamed live on Netflix, which released the Guillermo Del Toro film. Despite going into the Actor Awards with …

Timothee Chalamet Jokes, Red Carpet, Date With Mom at 2026 Actor Awards

Timothee Chalamet Jokes, Red Carpet, Date With Mom at 2026 Actor Awards

Wondering what Timothée Chalamet‘s night at the 2026 Actor Awards was like? The Hollywood Reporter has you covered. On Sunday night, Chalamet was nominated for best actor at the awards show for his role as ping-pong hustler Marty Mauser in Marty Supreme. During this year’s awards season, the actor has won at the Golden Globes, Critics’ Choice Awards and the Palm Springs International Film Festival. But he did not win at the Actor Awards. Chalamet’s performance in Josh Safdie’s A24 film was one he trained extensively for. Tied to the film’s Christmas release, Marty Supreme‘s table tennis consultant, Diego Schaaf, praised Chalamet’s commitment to training for the character. “He wasn’t interested in doing the minimum. Even when he got it right, he’d say, ‘Let’s do it again,’” Schaaf told THR. “This was very athletically demanding. He memorized every point, every movement, every shot. Timing was critical — some shots float, others travel fast — and he understood that immediately. He performed unbelievably well.” Red Carpet Arrival The 30-year-old was sporting a black and white Prada …
