Eurovision 2026: Angela Scanlon And Rylan Clark To Front Semi-Finals

The BBC has announced its new Eurovision presenting team following the much-publicised departure of Scott Mills. Prior to his abrupt firing from the broadcaster in March, Mills had been a key part of the BBC’s Eurovision Song Contest coverage for many years, most notably commentating on the semi-finals every year alongside Rylan Clark. In his absence, Rylan will now be sharing his thoughts on the Eurovision semis alongside Angela Scanlon later this month. Angela enthused: “It feels like joining the greatest party on earth – equal parts thrilling and terrifying! “I grew up watching the Eurovision Song Contest with my three sisters, making very serious (and wildly biased) scorecards from the couch, so to now be part of it – especially in its 70th year – is genuinely surreal. **Warning: Contains spoilers for The Apprentice season 20** The Apprentice returned for a landmark 20th season on BBC One tonight and Lord Alan Sugar certainly didn’t hold back. Unfortunately for Nikki Jetha and Georgina Newton, their time in the process came to a fast end, and over on BBC Two, audiences will be able to hear all about their journey on the show and their thoughts about their firings, as they speak to Angela Scanlon, the host of The Apprentice: Unfinished Business. The Apprentice is certainly shaking things up for its 20th season – not only are 20 candidates entering the process to celebrate the anniversary, but it will also be paired with a brand-new companion series, Unfinished Business. Earlier this year it was confirmed that Unfinished Business would air in place of You’re Fired, with Tom Allen also announcing he was stepping down from hosting duties. The new spin-off show is hosted by broadcaster, podcaster and author Angela Scanlon who will be providing viewers with their fix of the latest boardroom drama, joining the host alongside an array of industry experts and celebrity fans. The series will also feature the first interviews with fired candidates each week. Together with the fired candidate, Scanlon and her panel will dissect all the drama from that week’s task, providing fans with in-depth analysis and behind-the-scenes intel. “There’s an informality to it that I really love,” Scanlon told RadioTimes.com in an exclusive chat. “People are so interested in what goes on behind the scenes [and it’s] kind of loosely referencing …
