Jenner, 76, is trans and an outspoken supporter of the Trump administration. She says she can no longer travel internationally as her passport now uses her biological gender at birth. The State Department changed its passport rules last year after Trump handed down an executive order declaring the United States would “recognize two sexes, male and female,” based on birth certificates and “biological classification.” Jenner recently appeared on Fox talk show Tomi Lahren Is Fearless to complain about the decision, saying she had recently renewed her passport and it came “back with gender marker M. Screws everything up.” In response, Navarro shared a screenshot of Jenner’s news and captioned it on Instagram: “Boo-hoo. Cry me a f***ing river.” …

Trump slammed the first US pope. The country’s bishops now appear more united than ever.

Trump slammed the first US pope. The country’s bishops now appear more united than ever.

(RNS) — After President Donald Trump attacked Pope Leo XIV and his foreign policy on social media this week, U.S. Catholics, and especially bishops, have largely reacted with condemnation and dismay. While it’s not new for U.S. presidents and the popes to disagree — especially on matters concerning war — what’s surprising about the recent spat between Leo and Trump is how much it has unified the Catholic bishops and faithful behind the pontiff, after years marked by division and internal conflict.  “The attack on Pope Leo has united the American hierarchy with particular zeal,” said Christopher White, author of the 2025 book “Pope Leo XIV: Inside the Conclave and the Dawn of a New Papacy.” The bishops’ unity has been strengthened by the election of an American pope and the “general sense of obligation that they need to support him and have his back,” he said.  From the moment Leo walked out on the loggia after his election last May, he laid out his mission, entrusted to him by the cardinals who elected him, …

Trump’s attack against Pope Leo XIV slammed by Vatican visitors – ‘Absurd’ | World | News

Donald Trump launched an astonishing attack against Pope Leo XIV (Image: Getty) Donald Trump’s extraordinary attack against Pope Leo XIV has sparked a furious response from international visitors to the Vatican. The world was stunned at the extraordinary clash between the US-born Pope and the American president. Trump called Leo “weak” and captive to the “radical left” on social media this week, after the Pope called Trump’s threats toward Iran “truly unacceptable.” Speaking outside the White House on Tuesday, Trump refused to apologise for the remarks he made. At the Vatican, visitors strongly defended Pope Leo while he was away on a 10-day trip to Africa. “It’s just ridiculous, because if the Pope is not speaking about peace, and is not taking care of every person in the world, he’s not the Pope,” said Joerg Soler, who was visiting the Vatican from Switzerland. “It’s completely inappropriate,” said Mariella Acciaioli, a French tourist. “Things are getting too much. We need to mobilise everyone, especially our leaders, to deal with this behaviour that is going beyond every …

Waitrose slammed after customers hit with £100 parking fines | UK | News

Waitrose has been slammed after customers at its Romsey store were hit by high parking fines, which they claim were introduced without their knowledge. Shoppers have been issued fines of up to £100 after Britannia Parking was introduced back in December. Prior to the introduction of the third-party parking firm, the supermarket on Alma Road offered shoppers up to two hours of free parking. Tickets were produced on entry, stamped at the till, and then shown at the exit barrier. However, with ANPR systems now in operation and external wardens employed, many customers are being hit with hefty fines after ‘overstaying’ their two-hour slot, reports the Daily Echo. Sandra Rowden, who has shopped at the supermarket “for 29 years and spend around £24,000 a year,” said that it is “absolutely diabolical” that people are being targeted by parking wardens. She said: “Waitrose are known for valuing their customers, and it was lovely having a man on the barrier. You felt like you were part of the club, and you certainly didn’t have to worry about …

But if anyone says he wants to end a civilization, that’s a war crime.” The 64-year-old actor continued: “You can still support the conservative point of view, but there must be a line of decency, and we must not cross it.” The White House shot back in a statement to The Independent, with Communications Director Steven Cheung saying: “The only person committing war …

Tory Leader Kemi Badenoch Slammed Over ‘Misleading’ Net Zero and Energy Bill Plans

Tory Leader Kemi Badenoch Slammed Over ‘Misleading’ Net Zero and Energy Bill Plans

Kemi Badenoch was slammed for her new plan to drop Net Zero altogether during her broadcast rounds this morning. The Tory leader claimed drilling in the North Sea would help ease the upcoming energy crisis, and dismissed the UK’s legally binding target to bring all greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050 as a “slogan”. She also claimed the country would go “bankrupt” because of the policy, which was championed by former Tory prime minister Theresa May. Badenoch has called for the government to approve more oil and gas drilling in the UK in response to the strain the Iran war has put on global energy supplies. “The first thing [the government] should do is start drilling our own oil and gas in the North Sea,” the Tory leader told Sky News. “It’s important for our energy security, our economic security, our national security, and they’re not doing [it].” Presenter Trevor Phillips said: “That’s all very helpful, but the point is none of that oil would come on stream for years.” He added: “I’m …

The actor, 53, who has largely refrained from speaking politically, made his stance on his peers sharing their beliefs clear during an appearance on Megyn Kelly’s conservative podcast show. “If you really want to be successful in this business, why would you make half of your audience despise you by your beliefs? Maybe they don’t care. I don’t know,” Duhamel said. Duhamel said that he has “real strong opinions about things,” but chooses not to talk about them: “It’s like, ‘Why would I alienate half my audience?’ Because I respect their views on things, but I’m not going to preach to them. “They can believe what they want to believe,” the Transformers star added. “I’m just here to, you know, make cool stuff.” Josh Duhamel said he …

I Was Amazed That this Oppo Camera Slammed the iPhone 17 Pro in My Tests

I Was Amazed That this Oppo Camera Slammed the iPhone 17 Pro in My Tests

The iPhone 17 Pro is absolutely worthy of its ranking among the best camera phones you can buy in 2026. Thanks to its trio of lenses and features like ProRaw, It’s capable of taking stunning images — in broad daylight or in the dead of night — that would rival professional mirrorless cameras. But while Apple may have held its crown as mobile photography champ for a long time, there are an increasing number of flagship Android phones that offer incredible camera skills as well — and the Oppo Find X9 Pro is just such a device. Its camera setup is excellent and I’ve taken some beautiful images with it using both its wide and 200-megapixel zoom cameras.  The Find X9 Pro is a powerhouse phone in all respects, which is why it scored so highly in my full review — and why it was given a coveted CNET Editors’ Choice Award. So to see just how it stacks up against the iPhone 17 Pro, I took it out on a series of photo missions around my beautiful …
