Nicholas Galitzine Knows How to Wear a Suit When You’re Yoked

Nicholas Galitzine has the power—the power suits to level up his red carpet looks, that is. The Masters of the Universe actor bulked up (reportedly aided by consuming 5,000 calories a day) for his upcoming role as He-Man, and he hasn’t ditched the muscle mass just yet. Playing the ’80s superhero known as Prince Adam, who transforms into the scantily clad He-Man once he wields the Sword of Power, Galitzine ditched the lithe physique that helped him ascend to fame in Red, White, and Royal Blue to play the comic-book hunk with the body of a Pumping Iron bodybuilder. And now that it’s time to promote the film, the British actor’s stacked stature hasn’t prevented him from wearing a nice suit. If anything, it enhances the experience. In an appearance on The Tonight Show this week, Galitzine looked comfortable in a grey double-breasted suit with a white spread-collar shirt and a green geometric tie, swapping out dress shoes for slick leather boots. Working with stylist Ben Schofield (whose roster also includes fellow English heartthrobs Callum …

Gabriela Hearst’s Team Uruguay Suits Are Designed to Protect the Players’ ‘Inner Strength’

They get a double-breasted suit? That’s so fun. Yeah, they get a boss-lady suit. I feel like you often highlight Uruguayan materials and patterns in your work, but here it needed to be a little bit of a cleaner look, and yet it’s probably your most patriotic project yet. How did you balance that? It was very clear that the queen of the project was going to be the Uruguayan wool. We worked with what we had—which is one of our strengths, working with dead stock materials, repurposing. We don’t let that stop or limit an idea or a concept—it’s also an excellent wool, so it was not a problem. We started from that point, knowing that it had to be very comfortable for the players because you don’t want to add to the tension. You want to be part of making sure that they’re relaxed, but they’re still sharp looking. That’s where the polo came in. A lot of the little secrets, like the shields and emblems and everything in the inside, is for …

Callum Turner Married Dua Lipa in an Unconventional Wedding Suit

Callum Turner Married Dua Lipa in an Unconventional Wedding Suit

In a surprise-to-us ceremony at London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall on Sunday, British actor (and possible future James Bond) Callum Turner tied the knot with pop star Dua Lipa, kicking off summer wedding season and officially crowning one of the world’s swaggiest couples (Calua? Duallem?) in the process. Fortunately for anyone with a wedding on the calendar over the next few months, Turner’s unconventional, tone-on-tone Ferragamo ensemble—equal parts John Wick and Robert De Niro in Casino—is the perfect mood-board material for nailing all your summertime semiformal looks. Callum Turner and Dua Lipa at their London wedding ceremony on May 31. Shutterstock Rather than going the traditional groom route—in either a classic black tuxedo or a more standard suit and tie—Turner opted for a swervier in-between option. His Maximilian Davis-designed rig boasted a strong-shouldered, double-breasted cut with plenty of formal details (wide peak lapels, covered buttons), but its rich, midnight-navy hue kept things feeling fresh and modern. Perhaps the bravest, most fashion-forward move of all here, though, is the matching navy dress shirt and tie—a nod …

What Color Shoes Should You Wear With a Gray Suit?

What Color Shoes Should You Wear With a Gray Suit?

Choosing the right shoes to wear with a gray suit usually begins with color: black, chocolate brown, maybe something more seasonal. And that’s a good place to start. It’s not where the decision ends. “The biggest determining factor in finding the right footwear for a gray suit is going to be your cloth,” says Chase Winfrey, editorial director of the New York bespoke tailor J. Mueser. “That makes up so much of whether a suit is casual or formal. A worsted wool charcoal suit… feels much more formal than a linen suit.” In other words, listen to the suit. Color is a baseline. Fabric, texture, and even the cut determine whether a pair of shoes actually works with a certain suit. Here’s how to determine which color shoes you should wear with your gray suit, according to tailoring experts. Styling the spectrum from light gray to charcoal Shade is a great way to narrow things down. On the one end of the spectrum, light gray suits lean more casual, so lighter, softer shoes like tan …

11 Best Linen Suits for Men 2026, According to GQ Editors

11 Best Linen Suits for Men 2026, According to GQ Editors

High quality pants will often include a lining for a more comfortable feel as well as an internal “French bearer” button (the extra hidden button on the inside of the pants) for a better fit. They’ll also include a waist curtain to keep the internal seams covered as well as a rear-split for easy tailoring. By no means are these details mandatory, but consider them when shopping. Fit: The overall fit and silhouette of a suit ultimately comes down to personal taste, whether you prefer a slim fit or classic sack suit. That said, there are some common guidelines to follow. Off-the-rack suits rarely fit perfectly and will need some alterations, so you want to make sure to pay attention to certain areas and leave others to your local tailor to spruce up. Make sure the shoulder seams align with your shoulder bones or slightly over them. The chest should have enough room to move around comfortably and the armholes shouldn’t dig into your armpit. While the length of the sleeves can easily be altered, …

5 Elite Men’s Summer Suits 2026: Cotton, Linen, and More

5 Elite Men’s Summer Suits 2026: Cotton, Linen, and More

Many suit salesmen will try to convince you that the four-season suit exists. It does not. Not really. Yes, central heating and air-conditioning have made things more manageable, and sure, you could force a medium-weight wool suit into the heights of summer and the depths of winter, but you won’t have a good time. Besides, even if the mythical all-season suit did exist, rotating your tailoring is a good idea. Suits need a little rest now and then if you expect them to age gracefully. So, a proper summer suit is the order—something breathable, lightweight, and ideally capable of handling late spring and early fall as well. Maybe you work in an office that asks for a jacket. Maybe you’re staring down a calendar full of beach weddings and summer events. Either way, linen, cotton, lightweight fresco wool, or some clever blend of the three is where you want to be looking. With that in mind, here are five summer suits available from the exact tailors we’d point our own groomsmen towards, each spanning various …

The Best Men’s Wedding Suits Brands (For Grooms & Guests)

Whether your mantelpiece at home is bowing under the weight of pending wedding invitations, or you’re looking to tie the knot yourself this summer, you’re going to need to buy an appropriate suit for the occasion. When attending summer weddings, it immediately becomes apparent who doesn’t wear a suit in their day-to-day, if ever. Don’t be that guy. A summer suit should look effortless and feel natural, two characteristics that are downwind of great fit, stunning fabrics, and beautiful design. Gone is the expectation that every man must squeeze into the same rigid, dark suit as if attending a board meeting rather than a celebration. The modern suit has evolved. It is no longer the stuffy corporate armour it once was. Turning up to a wedding looking like Gordon Gekko in Wall Street is not the vibe. Summer event tailoring, whether for groom or guest, is something far more natural, versatile, and pleasurable to wear. It’s lighter in weight, softer in construction, and designed for movement, warm days, and long evenings throwing shapes and downing …

What to Wear to a Beach Wedding 2026: Suits, Shirts, and Pants and More

What to Wear to a Beach Wedding 2026: Suits, Shirts, and Pants and More

Ah, the beach wedding. Watching two people you love promise themselves to each other against an impossibly beautiful backdrop. Of course, paradise also comes with delayed flights, expenses, and the small matter of figuring out your beach wedding attire. Still, dwelling on the logistical annoyances is no way to live, friend-o. A destination wedding is one of life’s better excuses to lean into a little romance, a little joie de vivre, and perhaps a version of yourself that dresses with slightly more flair than usual. It may as well start with the clothes. Assuming you haven’t been given explicit directions on a dress code, you’ll want to start the same as with every other wedding: with a suit. (Doubly so if you’re the one getting married.) But when sand is present, your three-season wool standby isn’t invited. You want a beach-wedding-worthy suit that combines coastal swagger with a lightweight fabric and a cut that will flatter. You’ll also need shoes (sorry, flip flop aficionados) that won’t sink into the sand or make you look like …

King Charles and Zohran Mamdani Prove There’s More Than One Way to Look Great in a Suit

King Charles and Zohran Mamdani Prove There’s More Than One Way to Look Great in a Suit

On paper, King Charles III and Mayor Zohran Mamdani have very little in common. One was destined to reign over the British Isles from birth, the other began his New York City mayoral campaign with barely a puncher’s chance of winning. One owns enough sprawling estates to fill an issue of Town & Country, the other just implemented his state’s first-ever pied-à-terre tax. One supports Burnley, the other is a lifelong Gunner. But the two men do share one not-insignificant trait: They look damn good in suits. Of course, even when it comes to sartorial matters, the pair employ near-opposite approaches. King Charles III with Michael Bloomberg and Queen Camilla at the National September 11 Memorial. Samir Hussein When Charles and Mamdani met earlier today—during the monarch’s visit to the 9/11 memorial, as part of his four-day state tour of the US—both were dressed in their well-established uniforms. Charles has long been one of the greatest champions of his nation’s grand tailoring tradition; last year, he earned a spot on our list of the 50 …

The ‘Devil Wears Prada’ Guys Looked Great in 2006

The ‘Devil Wears Prada’ Guys Looked Great in 2006

On Monday night, The Devil Wears Prada 2 premiered in New York. As you might expect, the red carpet was awash with plenty of spectacular fashion—Meryl’s Givenchy cape!—but the menswear on display was, well, just fine. Stanley Tucci, who’s returning in the sequel as Nigel Kipling, looked sharp as ever in a form-fitting velvet sport coat and charcoal slacks, but that was, ultimately, the only highlight. (TDWP, after all, is the rare blockbuster franchise not aimed squarely at a male audience.) But it did have us looking back with a little yearning at the simple, sexy looks worn by men on the original film’s press circuit in 2006. Back in that era, before celebrity styling had grown into the high-stakes game of chess it is today, there was far more room for spontaneity, personal taste, and plain old fun on the red carpet. Take Adrian Grenier, for example, who played Andy’s much-maligned boyfriend Nate in the first movie (and is not, to the cheers of many fans, back for the follow-up). At the movie’s New …
