Stephen Colbert, Gayle King, Billy Eichner at THR NY Media Power Party

Just two weeks before he hosts his final episode of CBS’ Late Show, The Hollywood Reporter cover star Stephen Colbert was the toast of the evening at THR‘s Most Powerful People in New York Media party, presented by History Channel, at Daniel Boulud’s Daniel Thursday night in Manhattan. Colbert hugged his colleague Gayle King shortly after both arrived. As King posed for photos on the red carpet, Colbert jumped in and joined her for a couple of playful shots. Later he posed solo, flashing some of his best male model-like stares, before he was spotted chatting with other guests near the bar and then making his way into the main party room. There he held court and could be seen deep in conversation with Rita Wilson as well as catching up with Andy Cohen, THR editor-in-chief Maer Roshan and Boulud, with whom Colbert had an appropriately warm moment with near the fondue station. Banksy’s PR team wanted to give me a heads-up. That day, he would unveil a fresh artwork somewhere in New York,” Bryant wrote. The reporter later learned that the location of Banksy’s new artwork would be at Lower Manhattan’s The Houston Bowery Wall, a well-established outdoor mural space known for showcasing international street art by renowned artists. “Our bureau in Lower Manhattan was not far away. We got there quickly, beating everyone …

Kenneth Cole and Selena Gomez were honored at the 2026 Social Impact Summit, the first outing of the Social Impact Fund to focus on fashion and beauty philanthropy, where speakers and panelists shared insight on topics from the importance of creative diversity to why college isn’t the only pathway to a career in the industry. Veteran fashion and accessories designer Kenneth Cole was honored with the Social Impact Fund’s Excellence in Fashion Philanthropy Award by Michael Atmore, editor-in-chief of Women’s Wear Daily, in front of an audience full of VIPS, Fashion Institute of Technology students and fashion and beauty execs inside FIT’s theater. In 1985 — more than 40 years ago — Cole started a very witty ad campaign in support of HIV/AIDS research and charities. He was the first person in fashion to launch a full-scale philanthropic ad campaign, which led the way for many others. “At the time I started,” Cole told Atmore as part of an onstage Q&A, “AIDS was already pervasive, but no one was talking about it. I don’t think we could …
