Princess Beatrice’s husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi makes under-the-radar move amid marriage rumours

Princess Beatrice‘s husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, has quietly made an under-the-radar move this week after the couple faced reports of “distance” in their marriage.  The property developer, 42, who married into the royal family in 2020, has discreetly removed his most recent Instagram post, which featured his recent trip to Los Angeles.  In recent weeks, Edoardo visited LA with his company, Banda Property, which has kept the footage up. The video, captioned “life is not a movie”, showed Edoardo strolling down a palm-tree-lined street on his latest business venture.  His most recent grid post, shared on 25 January, is now more than two months old. Though he has posted temporary “stories”, there has been no permanent post since Beatrice’s father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, was arrested in February.  Beatrice and Edoardo share two children, Sienna, three, and Athena, one. Beatrice, 37, is also stepmother to Christopher, also known as Wolfie, from Edoardo’s previous relationship with architect Dara Huang.  Princess Beatrice & Eugenie battling ‘complete and utter personal crisis’ Denying the rumours Earlier this week, Beatrice and Edo …

Jessie Buckley makes extremely rare comment about under-the-radar husband

Jessie Buckley really is the it-girl of the 2026 award season. The Irish actress, 36, has just scooped up a Critics’ Choice Award for playing William Shakespeare’s wife Agnes in Hamnet, alongside fellow Irish star Paul Mescal. Her role in the Chloe Zhao film has also earned her a nomination at the upcoming Oscars, an accolade which her emotional performance certainly deserves. While her star couldn’t be more on the rise in the glittering world of Hollywood, Jessie keeps her life with her four-month-old daughter and her husband is kept largely out of the spotlight, but in a new interview with Vogue, the Wicked Little Letters star made a rare comment about her husband, Freddie, whom she secretly married in 2023. Jessie has been nominated for an Oscar for her role as Agnes in Hamnet Revealing the reason she keeps her husband’s identity under wraps, Vogue reported: “Given his profession, his anonymity is crucial.” Jessie added that he won’t be making a red carpet appearance any time soon, but that he has been “having a …

This under-the-radar city is the hiking trails capital of California

This under-the-radar city is the hiking trails capital of California

Redding doesn’t get talked about much as a travel destination. That’s because what makes Redding worth a trip is everything else that surrounds Redding. The northeastern California city is an ideal home base for exploring Shasta Cascade, an area filled with natural wonders. Trek a mile from downtown Redding and you can be kayaking on the Sacramento River. Drive 15 minutes west and you’re swimming or water-skiing in Whiskeytown Lake. From there, head slightly south and you’re hiking or mountain biking toward a cascading waterfall in Whiskeytown National Recreation Area. Or drive east and you’re walking next to geothermal springs and mud pots at Lassen Volcanic National Park. With 225 miles of trails within just a 15-mile radius of its downtown, Redding has been called the “trails capital of California,” so it makes sense that it is the headquarters of American Trails, an organization that ensures trails and greenways around the country are well-maintained and accessible. Once the home of the Wintu people, the city got its name from Benjamin B. Redding, a Sacramento politician …

9 new and under-the-radar things to do in Avalon, Catalina Island

9 new and under-the-radar things to do in Avalon, Catalina Island

In the center of Catalina Island is Bishop’s Chapel at El Rancho Escondido. From its coastal perch, the small adobe building is alone with scrub-covered hills that look as if they are rolling into the distant rugged shoreline. The blue sky above is mirrored in a vast stretch of ocean. This could be a scene from rural Spain or Italy, and if it were springtime, the green isle of Ireland. But this is, by technical definition, greater Los Angeles. Those basking in the scenery — including myself — can’t quite believe it. Visiting the recently renovated ranch is one of the many new and under the radar experiences around Avalon, Catalina’s largest town with just over 3,000 people. If you haven’t made a trip in a while, it’s time for a reintroduction. This little getaway across the channel has been attracting visitors for over a century. Longtime Avalon resident and musician Vern Altieri found his place in this community after living in Malibu for 20 years. He explains, ”There’s no traffic light. There’s no traffic. …
