Bravo Wraps Leaked ‘Summer House’ Reunion Audio Investigation

Bravo has wrapped their investigation into an audio recording that was leaked from the set of the highly anticipated season 10 reunion of Summer House, concluding that someone involved in the production released the unauthorized recording. “An investigation into the recent leak of the Summer House reunion audio has concluded that the audio was an unauthorized recording and distributed by an individual involved in the production of the reunion.  As a result of the findings, appropriate action has been taken,” a Bravo spokesperson shared in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “There is no evidence that any member of the cast was involved in the recording of the audio.” The statement continued, “We take these matters seriously and will continue to take appropriate measures to respond to the unauthorized distribution of our content. We are aware that there is additional improperly obtained audio circulating and we caution all parties and platforms to refrain from posting, sharing, or amplifying any unauthorized audio.” On Thursday night, after the special series of episodes where Ciara Miller crossed paths …

Pope wraps up Africa trip with diplomatic challenge in Equatorial Guinea

Pope wraps up Africa trip with diplomatic challenge in Equatorial Guinea

Pope Leo XIV arrived on Tuesday to Equatorial Guinea for the final leg of his four-nation African journey, arriving in a country that presents perhaps the most diplomatically delicate challenge of this trip and his young papacy. The papal plane landed in the city of Malabo at around 11:35am, with a crowd of officials and citizens at the local airport and along the major roads to welcome him. “There is a lot of joy today because we waited 44 years for the pope to come, after the visit of John Paul II,” said Diosdao Marques, a senior Catholic official in the country. “It’s a blessing for the country, we hope many things will change and we will deepen our faith.” The former Spanish colony on Africa’s western coast is run by Africa’s longest-serving president, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, 83. He has been in power since 1979 and is accused of widespread corruption and authoritarianism. The discovery of offshore oil in the mid-1990s transformed Equatorial Guinea’s economy virtually overnight, with oil now accounting for almost half of …

Production Wraps Ahead of 2027 Release

Production Wraps Ahead of 2027 Release

The Legend of Zelda touched down in Sin City on Monday, with Sony teasing the upcoming video game adaptation during the studio’s CinemaCon presentation. First-look images from director Wes Ball’s live-action film had been released in November, and at CinemaCon, president of Sony’s motion picture group Sanford Panitch announced that the movie had recently finished principal photography. Sony did not reveal new images or details about the feature that counts Nintendo legend Shigeru Miyamoto and Avi Arad as producers. “We just wrapped production on Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda — based, perhaps, on the most beloved gaming franchise of all time that sold over 180 million copies in four decades,” Panitch said. “It has been produced by the creator himself, Miyamoto, along with Avi Arad, and it’s directed by Wes Ball, whose most recent Planet of the Apes movie was a box office hit.” The exec continued, “The film releases worldwide May 7th, 2027. We and the legion of fans everywhere cannot wait. And video game adaptations continue to be a significant focus for us.” …

Baby wraps treated with insecticide could help slash malaria cases, say researchers

Baby wraps treated with insecticide could help slash malaria cases, say researchers

Although the cost–benefit calculation appears clear – a small risk of minor skin reactions versus the potentially fatal consequences of malaria – convincing manufacturers to treat baby wraps with permethrin may prove difficult. Companies may be wary of reputational damage or consumer backlash, particularly when products are designed for infants, as illustrated by the long-running controversy faced by Johnson & Johnson over its talc-based baby powder, which it ultimately withdrew from markets despite disputing health claims. Still, Dr Boyce remains optimistic. “There may be private-sector solutions here – perhaps companies would want to sell treated wraps,” he said. “One advantage is that, economically, women are already buying these wraps, so there’s no behavioural change required. “From that perspective, all you’re asking is whether, for a small additional cost, they would choose a wrap that has been treated and helps protect their child from malaria. We haven’t done the studies yet, but I imagine it would be highly cost-effective,” he said, adding the difference in price would probably be somewhere in the realm of $0.50. The …

Best chicken Caesar wraps at L.A. sandwich shops

Best chicken Caesar wraps at L.A. sandwich shops

In the 1990s, chicken Caesar wraps dominated lunchtime menus. Aside from the comforting hit of nostalgia for a simpler time, I don’t remember them fondly. Often soggy, laden with too much dressing and scant, dry chicken, it was the kind of unfortunate premade meal you’d eat alone at an airport cafe. So you can imagine my surprise to see the Y2K-era sandwich having a sudden renaissance at popular restaurants around Los Angeles. But this time, it’s back with some much-needed upgrades: Reputed L.A. chefs and sandwich shops are finally doing the dish justice by using high-quality ingredients and adding their own signature touches — from organic fried chicken to chunks of falafel instead of croutons. While Angelenos’ love affair with the Caesar salad has been ongoing since Italian chef Caesar Cardini debuted it in Tijuana in the 1920s, the inventor of the chicken Caesar wrap is a bit more mysterious. California Chicken Cafe opened in 1991 on Melrose Avenue and added a chicken Caesar wrap to its menu soon after in 1993. In 1997, fast …
